What about those strings in the intro? Is that African too? What about the computer and internet that made all this propoganda possible? How ungrateful Blacks are that Whites made thing available to them.
My music teacher told me that nothing Africa has produced has added anything of use to Western(White) civilization.
@empires83 You and your ilk are the reasons our world will never progress beyond this brand of ignorance. If you are so dissatisfied with your own miserable life you feel the need to lash out against people of other races, perhaps you should consider suicide as an alternative to your continued existence. It would most likely be the only contribution you would ever make to our society.
this song wakes so many feelings....its depressive, it makes you wanna cry.....it then gives you strength, it makes you fall in love, it makes you calm, takes your dreams far away.......Africa!!a country with magic.......peace......
THE CONSTANT GARDENER, BLOOD DIAMOND, HOTEL RWANDA, THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND (Idi Amini of Uganda) AND OUT OF AFRICA by Karen Blixen are all based on Africa.
Watch them and I will guarantee you that you will discover A NEW SIDE of your self.

This is beautiful music. I am from America but one day hope to travel to Africa..... I have never thought to coming here and listen to this music. One of my favorite American artist got to perform in South Africa for Women Month and it gave me the desire to learn about African music.
Hi I am looking for a similar song with this… but I can’t find it, I don’t know how is called… you hear it in documentaries when showing breathtaking places… (Sorry for my English)
I grew up in Nigeria, and I tell you,That was the liffe,i had it all, i lived there 12 years,i visited a lot of the places in africa, i m planning a trip back soon, the biggest mistake someone can make is NEVER visiting africa!!! I love africa, it's just like my birthplace to me!! Ive been on a safari many times..
I've been to Kenya twice and Eygpt once. I recommend going to Africa, go on a safari and meet locals. Take in the culture and you'll fall in love with the place.
i volunteered in africa, kenya, for six months.. im a swedish/danish girl and these 6 months i lived with a hostfamily, lived in a house made of mud without electricity and running water. i OMG I LOVED IT!!!!!! i fell inlove with the country and the people. wanna go back to africa as soon as i get the money, gonna visit some other african countries too next time, africa tour 2012!
@mathildasally Hi there, it sounds like we got something in common here and I am really impressed by your efforts, however my question to you is, How long did it take you to adjust to your old life?. You must have had lots of Nostalgia afterwards.
@asal97 cant believe iv already been back for 2 months.moved from sweden to copenhagen.can tell u - some days are harder than others, somedays i feel like crying bc i miss africa so much.its hard to adjust to everything here again, ofc my country is better in some ways, government f.ex. but kenya was better than my country in other ways. I feel torn because im born here,in scandinavia, but my heart is in africa.its just so hard being white down there, thats why im afraid to move there permanently.
@mathildasally Trust me, i was going through similar phase, there was lots of memories to deal with, the sounds and sights of everything i experienced.
My suggestion to you is, find people in your city who shares the same interest as you and team up with them.
@asal97 well ive been in cph now for 1 and a half months and now i actually think i know what i wanna do! i found the perfect programme in a university here in cph called "african studies", its about the poverty and development of africa, human rights, conflict and conflict resolution :) then i thought i could take an exchange year to go to kenya again!
However this will never replace the closeness and the real life experience that you had while in the village and I hope you will make it back to the village.
I my self am planing to travel back to the village where I recharge my battery of happiness.
.......me encanta esta canción....espreciosa.....wonderfull...yeeeehh...!!!!I siempre por la mañanas la escucho..!!!paZz y amor para el mundo...!!!!!
@TheAcidPest We are aware of what you are saying, but I disagree. I agree with what you say that "pure" african music is mystical and beautiful. But the same ongoing drums will make the soundtrack boring and irritating at the end. What makes this song so amazing is that we have been able to put together western orchestra with ancient and mystic drum beats. Raw drumbeats ARE beautiful, but everything goes more shiny if the man is able to cross cultures.
@leviterande Yes, it is. The first part comes from the movie. Not strange that the creator of this mix added it. The soundtrack from Blood Diamond summons tears of beautiness.
