  • Jammin'! lov it :0

  • magical!!!

  • What about those strings in the intro? Is that African too? What about the computer and internet that made all this propoganda possible? How ungrateful Blacks are that Whites made thing available to them.

My music teacher told me that nothing Africa has produced has added anything of use to Western(White) civilization.

Hope I didn't burst your Afrocentric bubble.

  • @mathildasally Hi there, it sounds like we got something in common here and I am really impressed by your efforts, however my question to you is, How long did it take you to adjust to your old life?. You must have had lots of Nostalgia afterwards.

    Well done baby... Well done!

  • @asal97 cant believe iv already been back for 2 months.moved from sweden to copenhagen.can tell u - some days are harder than others, somedays i feel like crying bc i miss africa so much.its hard to adjust to everything here again, ofc my country is better in some ways, government f.ex. but kenya was better than my country in other ways. I feel torn because im born here,in scandinavia, but my heart is in africa.its just so hard being white down there, thats why im afraid to move there permanently.

  • @mathildasally Trust me, i was going through similar phase, there was lots of memories to deal with, the sounds and sights of everything i experienced.

My suggestion to you is, find people in your city who shares the same interest as you and team up with them.

To make long story short, live your dreams!!

  • @asal97 well ive been in cph now for 1 and a half months and now i actually think i know what i wanna do! i found the perfect programme in a university here in cph called "african studies", its about the poverty and development of africa, human rights, conflict and conflict resolution :) then i thought i could take an exchange year to go to kenya again!

  • @mathildasally Hi, congratulations. Lucky you.

However this will never replace the closeness and the real life experience that you had while in the village and I hope you will make it back to the village.

I my self am planing to travel back to the village where I recharge my battery of happiness.

Wish you luck with your life.

  • @asal97 Wait, im writing directly to you instead of here!

  • You know it's Blood Diamonds soundtrack right??

  • .......me encanta esta canción....espreciosa.....wonderfull...yeeeehh...!!!!I siempre por la mañanas la escucho..!!!paZz y amor para el mundo...!!!!!

  • ek is lief vir jou Afrika !!!! I love you Afrika !!!! ....dankie...Esspecially Joz´i :-D

  • @TheAcidPest We are aware of what you are saying, but I disagree. I agree with what you say that "pure" african music is mystical and beautiful. But the same ongoing drums will make the soundtrack boring and irritating at the end. What makes this song so amazing is that we have been able to put together western orchestra with ancient and mystic drum beats. Raw drumbeats ARE beautiful, but everything goes more shiny if the man is able to cross cultures.

  • Feel the confidence and strength return when listening to this soundtrack. F*****g refreshing..<3

  • very nice.. but have lyrics to it?

  • Wonderful. Takes me back to my childhood, where my parents & I lived deep in the bush in Tanganyika/Tanzania. I spoke Swahili before English (family language), & still do speak it. My video on youtube has original footage from the 1950's & 60's, taken with an old Eumig 8mm camera. Plus Uhuru day celebrations on 9th December 1961. Julius Nyerere makes a brief appearance at the dusty airfield in Geita.
