Well later in the year they double the stock. We are supposed to go out this spring gill netting and do a survey to check growth rate. I may not work there anymore but you can bet I am interested in how the Blues do.
It took some doing to get it done, but 450,000 Blue Catfish were stocked in Lake Bob Sandlin, in Northeast Texas in 2008. Many thanks go out to Timothy Bister and his staff at Texas Parks and Wildlife Inland Fisheries District 3-A. Also I would like to thank Pro Catfisherman, Danny King, for getting us to look into the idea of introducing Blues in to the lake. I would also like to thank Hudson Old, Journalist, for covering the event.
