  • this was a horrible performance... you emphasized everything especially with the swallowing at the beginning. If you want to show it and put it on youtube at least make it look like hung gar. Powerful, full force strikes. not dancing like nothern shaolin kung fu

  • i cried.

jks i stopped watching after the first 20 seconds, i just couldnt bare it anymore

if you're gonna do a demo of your style, do it with pride, as in dont make yourself look like a complete douche

  • please tell me this is a joke.... ='(

  • this sux he has no control at all and it's more like dancing

  • Amazing that he didn't trip over his sash, obviously he didn't tie securely enough. Bad performance to, lol.

  • this is very very bad sorry

  • lmao retarded

  • 1st day my sifu taught me how to tie my belt

thats the first lesson that you should learn

  • L O L @ this guy and the silent observers

  • lol @ hits belt.

  • he would be good at cutting up sushi

    career change perhaps

  • Dude this was horrible. It looked like he was dancing with the air while trying to stab it with a knife. I've seen Hun Gar style, and this is just a disgrace to it.

  • very much agreed.

  • DAMN its like he doesn't have a clue what hes doing! that was bad! His belt got off too!

  • CLUMSY. That was a tragedy, it looked like he was just waving the knives around, and THAT'S IT.

  • This man is awful.

  • i love you and ur gung fu

  • Definately not the best example of Hung gar. Looks like he ws a guest at someone else school. I 'm sure he's not an advanced student. Couldnt even tie his sash correctly and on the wrong side of his body. In his country I guess their just happy to have guests visit and share what they know even if its just a little bit. No real harm done.

  • stop calling it hun gar!it´s hung gar

  • boring

  • Give the guy a break you e-martial artists, you dont have a leg to stand on until you post a video of yourself

  • this doesn't look like an efficient form of knife fighting at all

is it meant to be a dance or something?

  • i practice hun gar, i can assure you this is no form off dance or style, i have no idea what the hell that is, its an embarrassment to people who actually practice the style off fighting. the video shows no style and no stances but it does show a man waving 2 bendy swords around like a nitt witt

  • I'm on ur side ~~

  • what is this ?xDDDDDDDDD THIS IS FUNNY COMEDY FOR IDIOTS XDDDDDDDDDDD GOOD FIGHT ON STREET XDDDDDDDD

  • Not being nasty or anything but 3 points i have noticed:

    1) why does keep looking up? your oppenent will be in front of you not stood on stilts.

    2) where are the strong stances that Hung Keun is known for?

    3) Learn your style propperly before you demo it otherwise you look flowery, weak and unsure of your techniques.

keep training and all the best.

  • that was crap

  • um woodcutteraxe your right, i study Hun Gar and i have commented on this noob before but i shall say it again, this is far from Hun Gar, Hun Gar is not some guy standing with his feet apart and waving his arms from side to side, Hun Gar is the skill off imitating the power and force of some animals Eg the Tiger is used allot for strength but also the crane for light swift moves, this guy is giving a bad name to Hun Gar, and shouldn't be practicing it at al

  • dude shut up! you dont know what hun gar is either so stfu omg!!

  • pkaryd, u dint know wat hun gar is

  • lol how about both off you come to my house and you can see for yourself if i know hun gar hmm? until then shut up mate

  • alright sounds good, we'll see which one of us has more knowledge in Hun Gar

  • He looks a little off.. but I've never studied Hun Gar, but from the comments I seem right.

  • that wat hung gar is i do im better tho than that peice of sht peformance

  • I agree with the guy below me. This guy is terrible. It looks like he's just flailing around like an idiot.

  • This guy is terrible. He stays at one level the whole form. Anyone who studies hung ga knows you have to rise and sink.

  • he looks like the worlds best damn pancake flipper! "Hey guy, I'll have my eggs over easy, and I want em quick!"(at 0:38,lmao!)

  • it may look dumb, but i bet its pretty useful in combat, i think thats the key. but thats jus me, =/

  • i kno this is not wat it should look like. if it is supposed ta b like dis, my view on kung fu is ass backwards

  • Hungar is wat earth benders use in avatar

  • wtf?

  • what the HELL was that ?

  • ok im sorry what the hell was that i have done Hung Gar and that was nothing like it! that showed a poof swinging sime swords around like an idiot!

  • I know seriously. this is not hung gar. his form is way loose. the hung gar I know is a very rigid resolute stand and looks nothing like this. and if he were in a fight he wouldn't cut a thing. I mean seriously wtf.

  • His stances are crap and his movements are too stiff...it looks more like Karate the way he's doing it. Kung Fu should flow and be more graceful than this, I did Karate previously and now I do Hung Gar and Ninjitsu, this is quite bad to be honest but fair enough to him I can see he hasn't been doing it for long by the colour of the belt...if it's anything like my grading system thst is. Oh and belt by the way...it's on the wrong side. Always on the left unless you want to fight.

  • I'm doing the same thing as you except instead of karate as a background I did tae kwon doe. but like you I now do hung gar and ninjutsu.

  • Cool man, I wish I could do Taekwondo but there's 1 guy around where I live and he's good but he's gotten a bit brainwashed to be honest. He teaches his students to fall into the moves and it's bullshit. But yeah I have a friend who did Taekwondo and my Ninjutsu teacher used to be in the UK Taekwondo team. I just wanna learn the kicks, they're the best kickers in the world without a doubt. I find that when you talk to other martial artists they get really uptight and defensive of their art haha

  • ha ha

  • I'm no master, nor have I ever trained in Hung Gar, but I do understand that it bases most of it's power from strong stances and almost rigid forms.

If it's you who are in this video, you did well, but you're just going through the motions. Slow down your movements until you've gained more power from base, and I think you could become a great martial artist.

  • umm ok?

  • Exactly. And I want to say tha I've just filmed and shared it. I'M NOT OHAD!!!!! :))))))

  • I understood that from looking in your profile, I also think it is performed to well but don't take it off anyway... He should see his mistakes...:)

  • Let me know if you come to Haifa, maybe we'll found a time to meet. It can be interesting for both of us :) Remember me to Ohad :)

  • I only know him by face through other friends from merkaz avihai.. what martial art do you practise?

  • I'm an insructor of Russian martial art.

  • The guy is from "Merkaz Avihai" Haifa Israel,

    His sifu is Udi Raanan

  • This is not Hung Gar right? am i missing something?

  • Looks like a B rated pirate movie fight scene. Like a kid acting like jack sparow.

  • lol xDDD funny guy xDD

    who is your sifu??? xDDD

  • hahahaha.. a sash form

  • This is a chop suey version of the knife form. Poor form and he does need to learn how to tie a sash....

  • -"lol he needs to learn how to tie a sash properly"

reminds me of doing poomse in tae kwon do but worse.

  • Hi,

This is Hang Ye. What lineage? Thanks for sharing.

    Richard

  • lol he needs to learn how to tie a sash properly

  • le falta mas naturalidad en los movimientos demasiado rigido

  • This is one of the most funny videos on CMA I ever saw! This guy is acting like real "shlimazl"! With no strength, no coordination, not steady, not focused, almost lack of all important principles of moving and holding the back and legs. For a boy of age 7 that just playing "kungfu movie" it may be appropriate, but he is so serious, and so funny! Thank you, I laughed a lot!
