The reason why the characters sway when they move is because the majority of the game will be played with an above camera. It reads better when it's slightly exaggerated as opposed to static. When your 15-20 feet away from your character, it makes sense.

I am considering playing guilwars 2 simply because you can customize the characters there. They also have a necromancer there, which i love.
