i dont like the new paint should have left it the way it was they are decomisioning them soon which sucks so much i love them engines have a model of the smaller one

These Locomotives aren't actually being decommissioned. Its the 141's and 181's that are, NO 071's are marked for scrapping.

In all fairness they scared me too! And the odd time, still have that ability!

Anyway, by 'Building Brakes' it means bringing the power up (throttle) to create more air/vacuum. Simply you can make more pressure the faster the engine is going.
