They are not coming in waves, they are coming when you get closer to your original spawn. Didn't you see that when you go to your house they begin to spawn and when you go down to kill them they do not spawn anymore? Just go a little bit closer to your spawn...

@Randome202 anytime between december 15-31 ever monster has a chance to drop a present upon death. too late for that but a good way to trick terraria is to change your computer's date to december to get a present. either that or wait till next time.

Umm... not bad. But one thing? You're taking on the frost legion in a world with a lot of pitfalls and you have pretty high level gear. For someone who didn't know better, using that Snowglobe unleashes the frozen mafia. The vid wasn't that informative. The Frost legion are like the goblins on steroids, and while I can easily take them dnow, not so much when I first started hard mode.
