i have to admit that i discovered the wipers thanks to nirvana, but im not ashamed of it. this band i s now one of my favorites. so depressing, dark, it's all in the feeling., in the sensation the music gives you. it's so beautiful that i often cry when listening them.
Definitely one of the most under-appreciated, under-listened band to come out of the american "indie movement" in the 80's. So damn good, I can't get my friends to listen to them though
Still have my Wipers T-shirt and three Wipers cassettes with all their vinyl (1979-1986)... gift from Mike for recording his band SNAKEPIT in Eugene back in 1987!!!
