@rossross10 it doesnt have any outputs because it doesnt have a soundcard. check out the mixtrack pro.

@bigvato68 not with traktor le unless you use a program like audacity, but if you upgrade to traktor pro you can record internally with traktor itself

@djsansa You can try recording through different programs. Ive tried recording through 'audacity' but the quality was horrible. I had the same problem as you, so I just went ahead and purchased Numark Mixdeck. You can record directly to an iTouch or iPhone through a specific app. And to make it so much less stressful, the quality is stupendous. Hope that does something for you.

@ibigcheese91 ive never had a problem with audacity. i would imagine that recording to an iphone would be worse quality because its not coming from it directly...but whatever works. I recommend traktor pro to record internally or if you dont have it, then audacity which is a great program and the one that I used to record this mix.

Finally someone that know how to use the mixtrack, good mixing, effects use to fade out last song, looping out, creative mixing, good job, no scratching no problem !! just dont spin back all the time, You can mix !!

nice mix dude. what do you think of the pitch bend sliders? i've heard some people they're too sensitive coz they're small...?

@iwatsukeisuke91 thanks! yes, they are kind of small. I would say its one of my least favorite things about the mixtrack. if im not using sync and i am manually beatmatching, I usually try to get the pitch close with the pitch fader and then I have to adjust it with the side of the jog wheel to nudge it backwards or forwards. I would have preferred that the faders were bigger, but with the mixtrack you get a lot of other bang for your buck, so it doesnt bother me much.

This is good stuff, I've just got one of these myself (just to mess around with for fun really), it may be an entry level controller but this shows with a bit of practice you can get some good mixes out of it. Although mine are no where near this yet! I'm definitely going to upgrade to traktor pro and then I want a midi-fighter to use as a hotcue and fx controller. Look forward to your're next upload!

@MrFletchington thanks for the kind words! i am using traktor LE in this vid. the program is ok, it has everything you need for basic mixing, but can be a little annoying at times. for example, you cannot change the layout/appearance of the program, you cannot save cue points, and there are only three effects-reverb, delay, flanger. The effects do sound good tho.If you are looking for a program to mix two songs and maybe add some effects, Traktor LE can do this. I would recommend upgrading tho.

@MrFletchington about the sound card. I am using a usb digital mixing console the Tascam US-428 for the output of my sound, and the built in output of my macbook for my precuing in my headphones. Since Traktor LE does not allow one to record straight from the program, I ran an output from the Tascam back into my macbook built in input and recording everything in Audacity. Let me know if you have any more questions! I really love using the mixtrack and Traktor and id be glad to help.

great mixing if u ask me.....how is the program that it comes with tho? are u using traktor LE? i wanna purchase the mixtrack myself but i wanna get feedback on how it is before i actually buy it....does it have good effects and stuff with the program?

@MrFletchington one thing i forgot to mention: the thing i really do not like about Traktor LE is that it doesnt allow you to make your own beatgrids-it does it automatically. this means that sometimes it may think the bpm is 135, but really it is closer to 80 bpm, for example. and you cannot fix this. for an amateur like me, it was important that the tracks are similar in bpm so I can autosync, but for the end of this vid i had to ride the pitch control to beatmatch the two songs.
