ALTERNATE METHOD TO CHANGE NAMES: If you are Simpe shy, like I am, you can download Merola's multi painting (just google "Sims 2 Merola's Multi Painting" and change the name of any Sims that you directly control. For townies, you can use a hacked teleporter object such as the cat at Simlogical (google "sims 2 Simlogical") to move them into your house. After you move them in, change their name and then send them back to "townie" status using the teleporter again.

@CoconutPalms96 You can create new neighborhood terrains in SimCity 4. Just copy the .sc4 files over to SC4Terrains directory in The Sims 2, and then start a new community in-game ;)

I totally agree. Sims 2&3 have no soul. There is no color in these games, if you see what i mean. It's because genius Will Wright was not behind Sims 2&3... There's no more magic in Sims... :(

@Schaezen Yes there is, you just have your own, subjective memories which make you judge them so. The younger you were when you played something, the better memories you're going to have about it. TS2&3 are great games as well.

@wickoox Of course i'm being subjective, you can't have a 100% objective opinion. And yes, my childhood probably has influenced my opinion of the Sims.

But even if games 2&3 are good, they don't have the same taste... i don't know how to explain. It's like if the developers wanted to make something more realistic where Sims 1 were totally crazy, a bit like a cartoon. I can't explain it in english, i have no words enough :s Pożegnanie ?
