  • hiya bin so lieb

  • what a goal

  • @Peacemaker93vang you right :D

  • Freakin score like that for the US puto!

  • @irvspanish i think he did bro!

  • @JT26ish Shows how much you know. Altidore has scored 6 goals in 8 games for AZ this season, a decent record by any striker's standards. And he's still only 22, he's got plenty of time to keep this form up and turn himself into a great striker. Moron.

  • Altidore is rubbish. He failed to make an impact in a STRUGGLING Hull side that eventually got relegated. He's pacy, I'll give him that but he's got NOTHING ELSE going for him. Yeah, he might pull a goal like this out of his bag but in general, he is just a piss poor player. The US may be better off pinning their hopes on that Shea kid. I've heard good things about him and every time I see him play, he impresses..

  • @JT26ish he's only 22. and yea he did suck at hull but he's already got somewhere around 8 goals for az. He's doing his thing other there

  • @JT26ish: Altidore is far from rubbish, IMO. Fact: Altidore was loaned to the worst PL team (Hull) at the age of 19 (20?), and had absolutely NO SERVICE! Hull can't even stay in the top half of the championship. He has matured as a player since his loan at Hull, have you not seen any of his games for AZ?

  • You Can Score that But not For Your Country

  • CONTROL-ALT-IDORE!!

  • THATS HOW AMERICANS DO IT!!!

  • @admiralpike1 and netherlands :)

  • Nice to see Altidore score a great goal. I have a soft spot for US footballers as they loved a game that was alien in their country. In the land of giant US games like American football, Baseball and basketball, they chose the a game that was considered a girls game for years. I support Spurs and we have Brad Friedal who is awesome and well loved already. I hope to see more US players make names for themselves in the Premier League in the future.

  • @mickeyleon123 thanks for the support! i like to think us americans play a very humble game with intesity and confidence, still have a way to go to be world beaters but i think we are improving tremendously over the recent years :D

  • WHAT A GOOOOOOOAL!!!!!!! Sorry Goal Keeper!

  • "poaching" is what strikers do... period.

  • Amazing goal. Keep showing them what u got Jozy!!!!

  • hell of a goal! looked effortless. Like he lazily kicked the ball and the damn thing took off like an effen rocket! You know hes dangerous from midfield with his damn rocket blast ala guadalupe goal in concacaf gold cup. maybe he should be used as a withdrawn striker instead of a foward?

  • hell of a goal! looked effortless. Like he lazily kicked the ball and the damn thing took off like an effen rocket!

  • i keep replaying because its a hell of a strike. they gave him too much space and he made them eat it.

  • very different from his performance in villareal and bursaspor... he is talented but has not been consistent until this year in his career...

  • @ClessxAlghazanth get informations. in villarreal he didn't got a chance. he played only a couple of games but he was although not bad there. also he was good back in the states with NY Red Bulls. and he was only 16/17/18

  • back to the comment about football and soccer. you can blames the brits on that one. back when footy came out the brits called it soccer so naturally we called it soccer and then about the same time we started to come out with american football. then the brits decide to call it football and well....we already had football so soccer stuck cuz it would be too confusing to have two different sports with the same names. so we stayed true while everyone defected!

  • yeah i wanna see Poaching ass Chicharito Score goals like this. Top 10 players in the world my ASS. jozy would score goals like crazy if he had Manchester united's mid passing him the ball like if they were freakin SEAL Team 6 Snipers.

  • @Jazztimuzzz dude Poaching takes talent. If you wanna make your player look better, don't do it by talking shit about some other player. Or theoretically putting your player in another team. I've seen this same thing so many times with the Messi-CR7 fanboys. "CR7 would score goals like crazy if he had Barcelona's midfield"... Plus I bet SAF would rather have a poacher who scores consistently. He already has Rooney for long shots. Finally this is not basketball, goal 30 yrds out = goal 1 ft away.

  • @tahwyasaggin I Know, Your Right About A Goal Being A Goal.... But poaching doesnt take Talent? its just about being in the right place at the right time and siezing the oppertunity? just like in football when someone recovers a fumble he didnt put any work into creating the fumble it just happened to bounce in his direction and he controlled it; Simple. any athlete can do that. so my main point is. that chicharito isnt as AMAZING as people make him out to be niether is Jozy. Chicharito>jozy duh

  • @Jazztimuzzz Poaching takes talent. not any athlete can do that. It's not luck, it's tactical awareness. It's knowing where to be and when to be there (especially with offsides). It's not about chasing a loose ball. Your comparison is very weak.

  • @tahwyasaggin Maybe Your Definition of a Poacher is A Lot different then mine. But the Way He Scores A lot Of the Time is Just That. Someone Will Take A Shot on goal/pass It gets Deflected off a Defender or off the post and he just happens to be there to clean it up. so unless he's "Tacticly Aware" on where the ball is going to be deflected then yeah your right it does take "Awareness" and when hes in that situation its A LOT HARDER to miss. so how Tacticly Aware must this guy be to get a bounce

  • @Jazztimuzzz It's not just it to miss, it's hard to find yourself in that situation 20 times in your first season in Europe. But I guess it's just luck every time. He's so lucky they'll bench Dimitar Berbatov to have him in the field. Btw how do you define a Poacher? Ruud Van Nistelrooy was a Poacher (one of the best), I don't think Manchester Utd and Real Madrid payed 25m-ish each for someone "riding on luck".

  • @tahwyasaggin Well I Mean It Cant be That Hard To Be in Position if Your a Foward, You Always Wanna Be in the box just in case they can give you the ball or score off a rebounded ball, Chicharito would be the worst if he didnt do that. and thats how alot of his goals are, in the box tap ins. And they didnt pay 25 million for him Sir Alex said they basicly stole him from chivas because of the little amount of money they paid.

  • @Jazztimuzzz It can't be that hard? Have you ever played? It's not easy. Especially in a top professional league. You have to fight off defenders, beat the mark, and make sure you're not offside. That's awareness for you. Apparently breaking in to Manchester's starting 11 is easy then because it's not that hard to score tap-ins according to you. Btw SAF said they stole him cuz they paid 6m when he thinks he's worth a lot more. About the 25m I was talking about Nistelrooy one of the best poachers

  • @tahwyasaggin Have you ever seen him score by turning a defender? And Hes always getting called for offsides! and occasionally when he is onside thats when hes dangerous- goal v. france goal v. spain Hes Got Great Speed And He's tenacious Everything a Foward Should Have But his Tenacity is not like any others and thats why he starts, thats why hes got a look out and ability to score those tap ins!

They "Each" Payed 25 mill?? Yeah i read it right.

  • @Jazztimuzzz Manchester United bought Van Nistelrooy for 25m then Real madrid bought him from Man U for 25m. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Chicharito is one of the best players today, just saying he's good at what he does. I, Mexican myself, hate when he is overrated but I also hate when people like you come and talk shit, just to make Jozy look better in your case.

P.S. I've seen him take out a world class keeper, score headers, and show control of the ball by chipping it over the keeper.

  • @tahwyasaggin Thank You! The Reason For My 1st Comment was cuz i had just read that chicharo was named top 10 in the world and i couldnt believe it. I dont even think hes mexicos best player. for me it would be Salcido. i just thought you were one of these guys that Praises him. As For Man U's SEAL Team Six Midfield it just sounded funny so i put it in.

  • @Jazztimuzzz for me it's Gio and then Barrera. I hate when Mexico doesn't show love for out other players. I mean, I don't remember what game, but in Copa America game Barrera played like a badass, and people voted Chicharito man of the match... I was like really? -.-"

  • @tahwyasaggin For Real... I Was AT the gold cup final and saw nothing but Barrera destroying Bornstein and i think chicharo still got man of the match or mvp? but the MVP Should have gone to the Golie Cuz he was the back up and posted like 4 or 3 shut outs.

  • @Jazztimuzzz yeah -.-" I'm a Barcelona fan and in the CL final how the media in Mexico was saying the match will depend on what Messi 'vs' Chicharito do. I was like "really? they think it's a clash between those two?" Can you say OVERrated?. And what happened? I was right, he didn't do shit because Barcelona destroyed their midfield. Something I would of said before the match would be Messi vs Rooney (who actually did something) and Chicharito tipping the balance or something minor, not vs Messi

  • @tahwyasaggin HAHAHAHA Oh Man Thats Hilarious... Seriously though i watched that game and ended up switching it to english cuz the spanish dudes were overreacting to every little thing he did that day.

    Chicharito Vs. Messi? HAHAHA

    You live in mexico?

  • @Jazztimuzzz not really, you could say I live in the US from Monday-Friday and in Mexico in the weekends :P He didn't do much, I could probably count the times he touched the ball with 1 hand. But yes, even the fucking camera men bro... Guardado scored that magnificent volley, and Gio that amazing chip and the camera would show fucking Chicharito running to celebrate with the goalscorers. WTF REALLY?

  • @tahwyasaggin HAHAHAHA Yeah i ask cuz here in so cal all you get is spanish t.v showing soccer and they talk about chicharito the same way here too and the camera men LOL!

  • @Jazztimuzzz seriously, he's like the Mexican Beckham... overrated by the Mexican media just like Beckham by the British media. Thank God Real Madrid snatched Beckham from us and we got Ronaldinho! Dinho <3

  • @tahwyasaggin Dude... Im So Glad Ronaldihno is getting called up for brasil regularly again....

He's still one of the best players in the world.

  • @Jazztimuzzz word. :) I love to see him play! I miss him in a blaugrana jersey :\

  • @Jazztimuzzz If any athlete can do it why can't Jozy do it consistently?

  • @Jazztimuzzz... What did Chicha did to you...? You can't compare Chicha with Altidore...

  • This kid is hot. Good luck Jozy from the town where you started NYC.

  • Maak ik elke dag...

  • damn what the hell. Kvond altidore altijd wel awesome. Helemaal nu hij in nederland speelt XD. Nice goal.

  • oooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH Altidore wat een een geweldige goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing goal!

  • SWEEEEEETTT!!!

  • sounds like the commentator has a hot meatball in his mouth.

  • im really glad to he is doing good in that club.. other club never believe in him since he's an "american footballer" so kudos to you sir!

  • @TicklesMeSillyYou He's a very talented player, it's a shame that he didn't play at his other team, but he's a very good player for AZ scored 3 goals so far in the league, his first one against PSV.

  • @Abdikareem0 Scored 3 goals in the Eredivisie (Dutch League), and 3 goals in the Europa League.

  • @popijn100 I know i watch the dutch league plus europa and champions league.

  • QUAAAAADDDDD!!!!!! ooh noo im sorry its soccer my bet

  • Altidore is on the right place in Holland, he can develope here and grow to a bigger player.

    On Topic; WHAT A GOAL

  • That goal was for America!!!!

  • Why does everybody always argue about if it is soccer or football just watch the f*cking video!!!!!!!!

  • @kingarthur12100 It's because they're bored and they need somebody to talk to.

  • aimbot -_-

  • Someones got a Pocket Rocket!!!

  • CELEBRATE WIT YO PEOPLE!

  • @SteveToyProductions yeahh unrealistic

  • Was ie nais of niet. :)

  • Intikkertje

  • Intikkertje :)

  • nice to see american soccer players in europe

  • @cruzholland its football, you cunt

  • @checklarsz u fat little retard, in the usa it's called soccer. i know whats its called in europe noob

  • @cruzholland yes but the word socces is gay, its called football asshole

  • @cruzholland Deffenatly Football dont whine.

  • @JeffWatersRules stay out of this u fagg

  • Druk gewoon op 3 , dat is waar je voor komt. :]

  • Dutch football = 4-3-3 with wingers.

German football = counter football, (really defensive and wait for the 1 or 2 chances, bayern Munich is an exception, they play 4-3-3).

If America has some good wingbacks (left back, right back) and some good left wing and right wing, who can supply your striker (in this case Jozy Altidore) with a good pass, you can do well I guess!

America is such a big country -people wise- so there should be some talents! :)

    AZ <3

  • @DeWilvanDers haha americans talking about football but did you watch az? and whe have simon poulsen the best wingerback of the eredivisie so go on with baseball;) and i will say one thing jozy don't have a basisplace he must fight for his place

  • @AZcrokkaAZ: You know you like Altidore...who is much better han Benschop.

  • @DeWilvanDers that was our world cup strategy a 3-5-1, didn't quite work out, Altidore plays much better with an accompanying forward. Agudelo and Shea have been working well with him recently.

  • helemaal mooi om die goal in het stadion te zien :)

  • @checklarsz yep, vanaf X zag je hem er gewoon invliegen WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • damn

  • it looks like he barely strikes the ball...and BOOM...geez...

    "dear gods of football,

please further develope jozy and give him touch, 'cause we really need a decent showing in WC 2014...and throw in some fullbacks, too....

    yours truly,

    yankee fan

  • There must be one jealous Mexican fan that watch this :)!

  • 6 goals in 8 appearances. BEAST!

  • AZ Alkmaar is good. Will stomp through group phase in the Europa League.

  • Weet iemand hoe die goaltune heet als Altidore scoort?

  • @PouwelErwin Born in the USA van Bruce Springsteen

  • "HOLY SHIT WHAT A GOAL" sounds pretty good in Dutch

  • @tzetoth ...dude....lmao...lol....

  • @tzetoth he doesn't say Holy shit, he just says oooh wat een geweldige goal (ooooh, what a great goal)

  • @tzetoth Ooh wat een geweldige goal = Ooh what a beautiful goal!! , no problem ;)

  • KIPPENVEL!

  • man the commentator has a a lot of Phlegm in his system... he needs help

  • Great goal Jozy

  • score like that for the usa and often plz

  • jullie moeten dit soort filmpjes echt beter knippen :P

  • What a strike !!!!!!! I mean damn !!!! tht was insane !! nd he doesnt evn really step into it, i honestly think he can go to a lower level big club in the next 2-3 years if he keeps on playing at this level, like maybe arsenal or dortmund or who knows maybe evn a team as big as munich

  • great to see him grow in his confidence now that he's getting playing time. He's still young, even though he's been in the USMNT picture for years now.

  • Confidence, Jozy. That is your biggest need to be successful. Keep it up, kid.

  • waaa waaa weeee waaah!!

  • he barely even steps into it and it looks like its still accelerating as its going into the net. how is that even possible?

  • Nice goal

  • Why docent he play like this with the national tream

  • @Moisesrojas1 it's because you are playing football like Germans, and it's not in the nature of Americans to play defensive or play counter football. (so you can't even compete with the worse teams Europe has to offer)

  • @foxsux6000 lol all americans play is defensive and counter. thats like the last 12 years of american football.

  • @skedaddleMLS i know, but you shouldn't play that way ;) (they should play how we do)

  • AN ABSOLUTE BLOOTER

  • an absolute crackerrr!!!! (in a ol British voice)

  • Hell yes

  • Josmur, I want to believe.

  • GO CELEBRATE WITH YOUR PEOPLEEEEEEE

  • his technical skills still need work...but his raw skills and natural ability give him unlimited potential

  • WICKED!!

  • So how has this guy not been snapped up by a big club yet?

  • @Michael8414

Honestly I don't understand. When they announced he'd move to AZ Alkmaar, I thought this would be a good place to evolve, and I think he'll move to a better club in a few years. Remember he's only 21 years. But if I were a European (sub)-top club (Tottenham, HSV, Lyon etc) I'd keep an eye on this man and contract him asap, just to give him a chance.

  • @R1S9S9R1 you mean like Villarreal did?

  • @R1S9S9R1 ...i agree with ya...i just don't understand either...i mean, manu grabs j. hernandez (a poacher-striker) like he's messi, not even a nibble from 2nd tier EPL?...maybe wigam?...at least jozy's getting some great food and the tulips in spring are nice there....

  • ALTIDORE!!!!!!!!

  • he didnt score at hull because he'd be the only player up front and be gettin 3 defenders on him and they didnt even average 1 goal a game as a team he drew like 7 pks and was fouled numerous times in the box and calls werent made

  • Haha this language sounds like German and English mixed together..

  • @begley9 It's called Dutch, hence AZ Alkmaar is a Dutch team

  • @begley9 funny thing is: he isn't saying a single english word. (also you might want to wiki what sort of language English is ;)

  • Jozy getting his career back on track: good stuff. I hope he keeps it up: the US could use a new and improved Altidore.

  • @tallwhiteninja America should first get rid of it's national manager, and hire someone dutch... (because you won't get anything out of him by playing defensive football)

  • Comment removed

  • @foxsux6000 Klinsmann's been trying to play attacking football, actually: he's been much more attack-minded than Bob Bradley was, at least. It just hasn't been working. We also don't really have the players to play a Dutch-style system.

  • Did he go celebrate with his people?

  • Mooi doelpunt.

  • oh hell yes.

  • Glad Jozy is taking more strikes from long & keeping them on target

  • Jozy is good now?...good shit

  • Gvd wat n goal, sodeknetter!!!

  • The coach is very good, although i am a supporter of one of the opponente

  • Comment removed

  • Someone left the difficulty setting on Semi-Pro

  • Guiseppe Rossi for U.S. Striker!!

  • What the fuck when did Jozy get good :|

  • @smile221 Since he played for AZ

  • @ColorfullHD whys that? is the manager super nice or something and jozy responds to positive reinforcement?

  • @smile221 He just started taking his chances. I think this is the sixth goal in nine games this season. When you've been as ineffective as he has been the last two seasons, you have nothing to lose.

  • @smile221 for the first time in his life Jozy has a club coach that has wanted him and is encouraging him. remember pellegrini signed jozy for villareal, sent him on loan for 1 season then left for madrid. after that it's been all loans for teams looking at a quick fix. finally someone wants him, and he's showing his real skills. if he feels comfortable, he will score

  • @boxing2012 that's inaccurate. Pellegrini is on record saying he did NOT want to loan Jozy but rather the decision was the board's not his. Pellegrini in fact played Jozy a few times. Problem is he had Rossi, Nilmar, Llorente all in front of him and all scoring. On the number 2 La liga side. Just a tough lineup to crack. But what is true the manager of Xerez did not want him and he didn't play. so to you're point about managers it does matter. that said he was wanted a hull and didn't score.

  • @smile221 Well, the manager is good, It's a good level for Alitdore to play on, The team is really nice. He's just on his place there :)

  • this and his goal against Guadeloupe are so sick

  • now if only he could do this when he suits up for the States

  • @mtgetty86 guadeloupe?

  • @mtgetty86 not with Jürgen Klinsmann (who hired that guy?) stupid, stupid, stupid.

  • Comment removed

  • wow

  • I have no idea how this kid did this. He looked off-balanced, only had one touch and back was facing goal, and the ball was still going up when it hit net. Just amazing.

  • Bizarro Jozy!

  • Hax!!

  • Que Golazo! Good on ya Jozy! What a rip!

  • Wat een goal!

  • Comment removed

  • Have mercy.

  • So glad that Jozy has found a home and is scoring goals. Such a talent, great for the USA too.

  • RELEASE THE KRAKKEEENENENNENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
