Thats slow. Track record at Michigan is 242. They should take the cars and add about 150 horsepower and limit downforce restrictions. Now that would be worth watching!

i think california was even faster! too bad all cars have passed there peak due to safety expectations.

My guess would be around the 220 range. Its usually about a 5% drop from practice to race conditions.

Depends on the temperatures, they ran 229 in practice last year but only 225.9 was the pole speed. I could see it going up to 227 or 228 depending on the weather on Saturday. Cooler the better but not too cool.
