Soccer is the most played sport in this Country. Followed By Netball and then AFL. It was on Fox Sports, in THE AGE and in The Hearld Sun.

Melbournes Memberships hit 23,000 bigger than two AFL Clubs, and its our fourth year this season coming.

We are the only Nation Wide league where a team was started from scratch not moved from another City!

nth melb afl club are struggling on and off the field at the moment.they also are low on members..maybe the ones who have not re signed as members have become melbourne victory members instead.the a league is going to take over afl soon if this keeps up with other afl clubs.

Yes, I have notticed AFL Crowds and Memberships are decreasing as the A-League is becoming more and more popular. Also AFL is the thrid most played sport in the Country behind Football 1st and Netball 2nd then your AFL.

No, not necessarily MVFC - because they are tards. But I would guarantee that they'd get more than GAYFL. However, when the Socceroos played there a few years ago, about 25,000-30,000 people turned up. So there's some perspective for you of where the AFL actually stands in the world, and how insignificant it is.

Another comparison for you: The AFL teams who played in South Africa (don't know who they were) are one of the, hehe, "top" AFL teams in the "world". Yet, if a top football team (sokkha in your language) played there, for eg Real Madrid, then yes, you would easily get 95,000 people and it would be pandemonium in any country in the world, including South Africa and Australia.

AFL is like a primitive hunting game which only a few million people in the world care about, yet if MVFC ever won the Asian Champions League, more people will know about MVFC than the amount of people who know about AFL after 150 years of its existence.
