Metheny did produce Lyle's first album at the Power Station and used the group's percussionists, Alejandro Acuna and Nana Vasconcelos. This album is a must for Metheny or Mays fans. Track three "Slink" got alot of FM College airplay back then. I first heard it at the University of Miami in Florida.

Lyle's first solo album was in 1986 and I recommend it to everyone. He uses a few of Metheny's people and it's on Warner Brothers. Check it out.
