Personally I think ATN makes a great point about preparation for this type of competition. It is really a remarkable difference when you compare BOTY 2011 to BOTY 2001 and the routines as well as commandos have been a huge focal point for winning crews. I think Jinjo had a routine for every set last year.

I personally prefered Japan over USA in the semi-finals as Japan had more originality, but I felt that USA controlled the semi-finals as they had longer turns and controlled the battle with time. I only counted few routines from Japan, therefore USA takes the win. I also felt that if Japan were to win, they would've been SMASHED into pieces by vagabonds. However, the battle would have been more exciting if it was Jinjo vs Vagabonds. Battle Born still impressed me though. Good Job to all!

I have come to the conclusion that the reason why the crowd was so against you and disrespectful was because they weren't really a "crowd". People who attended the event said that most people there weren't even breakers and wouldn't even cypher during the intermissions.

To make matters worse the event was really promoted to the french audience as if it was some sort of soccer match or other sporting event where you are suppose to cheer on your country.

As for them even making it to the battles - there were plenty of better crews with better shows. The crowd HATED us!! They were extremely biased and before we even danced and they announced that the US was battling they booed. keep the hate coming if you like but it does nothing. 1500 haters couldn't stop us. We are gonna do what we do regardless. We were beaten by a well prepared more seasoned ( in this type of competition) crew in Vagabonds.. not by the haters. @bjgallardo I Was with Vagabonds and they decided to come check your guys before the battle begins because they find that attitude negative. The organisators said that people wasn't against us team but they didn't agree with the semi final judgment. I think it was not a good attitude but after the peaceful speech of the speaker who explained some stuffs about hating the crowd applaused the us team. For many observers us team was more creative and more "root" and it's my opinion too.
