Oh how I continue to marvel at Allison in this performance. Watching it again I noticed how well the guitarist Dave sounded in this version. He perfectly captured the essence of the song as done in the studio. I love the new version with Orianthi, however the original will always hold a special place in my heart. It's true: all the songs on her record are frigging, at least, good. But at least a hand full are great, freaking number one hits!!! Freaking Allison freaking rocks!!! More than half the radio "hits" suck, Allison's songs would make radio worth listening to. I loved it when they played "pieces," just a bit, on Wed's, 13th, American Idol. It made me excited. It was played as background music when a try out was sent home.

Allison Fans do not despair! Remember Allison only made it to 4th place, which was before the sort-of AI fans showed up for the finals. Most (but not all) hard core female fans were (still are) going nuts over Adam. Next she has yet to tour behind the album. Conventional wisdom has always been that concerts sell's records. Not all artists catch on from day one. It took Tom Petty a year and a half before "Breakdown" caught on. I recall The Police were another slow starter.

Amazing performance by the Rocker. It's probably my second fave from the album. My top track is "D Is for Dangerous". It seems though that I get a little extra from her acoustic performances and I really love that.

Forget your comparisons to Pink, Janis Joplin or Kelly Clarkson. Allison is her own person and her performances definitely show her individuality. I love her and her stylings based on this individuality. Her album is certainly one of my favorite albums for my lifetime. No lie.

I use ot like Allison before she mentioned she's a big PINK fan since she was little. I just listend to PINK i could careless about PINKS music but had to listen. PINK and Allison sound the same. Allison copied PINK! the voices sound so much the same its confusing. ALlison not an original singer.
