saw this band open for the chilli peppers in 2000 the winger was soooooo fucked up on heroin....guess the guitarist of this band plays for the chilli peppers now hmmmmmmmm!!!!
@TheIndieRed not sure entirely i saw this band and really liked them alot but it seemed as if the singer was on heroin ive had a habbit befire and he had all the traits of a junkie lol shit anthony of RHCP was strung out on that tour too i didnt realize this untill i read his BIO scar tissue i was under the impression he had been clean prior too blood sugar sex magic!!!!
@LiquorIsQuicker420 well, I read somewhere that while touring he would not take drugs but then when they stopped he kept falling in (about the AK think, I say) so this would explain you not noticing it!
@TheIndieRed actually that is correct he didnt use much at all during the tour he did mention useing heroin before the show at gorge amphitheatre in washington...i was at that show the foo fighters opened for them...and 6 montha later i saw them a second time in portland oregon with the bicycle thief opening and the stone temple pilots....that was a truely unforgettable show u can buy the dvd of that very show its called off the map and i was at that show i camped 3 days for tickets
@TheIndieRed anthony kiedis is clean now i think and im going to see the red hot chili peppers march 9th dallas TX cant fucken wait its gonna rock!!!!!!
@DreaminMyLifeAway He was about 16 to 18 back then i think.... Probably shy singing on record back then. I was his first record he ever done with someone i think
Right at the tail end of the nineties, this LP was my #1 fave CD of the decade. Peter choyce KXLU. I never cared for Thelonious Monster. Bob forrester is a frequent guest on DR DREW. I disagree with his stance on AA, however. the 'keep coming back' mentality, frivolous intimacy (constant hippy hugging) preaching non-demoninational but ending every meeting w the Catholic LORDS PRAYER (YUCK) but most damaging: the misguided idea that you have 'no control' over substances. EZ er ways to qui
Well, you can of course disagree with it, but it works for some people, and for those folks, it working is more important than it being "yuck." Given the shit that Bob's been through, I think that he'd happily have taken any "easier way" to quit that would have worked.
@DerNarische I know. I heard of the Bicycle Thief because of John Frusciante. I'm surprised at how good this song (and the band) is, and their lack of popularity.
@yertles more than amazing...I listen to this song the first time...i got to know this band cause of john frusciante...my idol...so i was pretty sad...but when i listened to this i got high...with this music...with this drug!! i m happy now!!!
I loved it! Amazinggg
