@ohairy111 That copter is made to land on water, but not with the force it landed. Water rushed inside the cockpit when it went too deep in the water, then instead of stopping the rotor he tried to take air again. The weight of the water threw the copter out of balance and you saw the result.

seem like he was trying to take off with a forward motion with the nose dug in the water. a bad call. presumably he had no mental model of the physics of the situation and just penised ahead insisting it would fly like he's used to on hard ground... leaning into the water he probably gave it even more collective to get it to fly and only forced the event.
