i loved this show so great the memories of being little & growing up in indiana i now live in the south & they just don't know what they were missing!!
Man this is so cool, this was still part of the old show, notice the echoe in Sammy's voice, they did'nt have that in the 80's. It made the show more creepier with the echoes and the scary music!
My brother and I watched Sammy religiously every friday night back in the seventies, todays television isn't nearly as fun as it was then,I'd still watch Sammy if he was on.
I would stay at my grandparents house in Marion Indiana, and as soon as the show started I'd jump on the couch with my grandma and she would be shaking from laughing at how scared we were. Her grandkids all of us were terrified of him.I know he was coming after me and he was outside the window, waiting for my g-parents to go to sleep., ha-ha-ha!! See what I mean??Man its been almost 33 years since watching this thanks for the flashback!! We thank u for the good memories!
This was great watching Sammy Terry every weekend on wttv, channel 4 on my super size vhf antenna up here in Decatur (by Fort Wayne). Samyy Terry was a 'cool goul' and the last age of innocence on horror. I wish that they would run some his re-runs on Indiana Television yet, for us people 48 and over!
omg my Mom told me about watching this when she was little, his laugh freaked her out... it still does!!! XD and she's watching with me, thanks for posting!!! lol
Thank you very much! Lots of memories here as a kid in Indiana. Does anyone remember Clara Kackle? I wish my kids could have this on Saturday nights. Thanks again.
This takes a brotha back to Friday night growing up as a kid in Indianapolis in early 80's. My aunt used to stay in some apts behind a cornfield, with a big glass patio door where we would watch tv when I stayed over there. Man when this came on it would be pitch black outside except for the corn. When you heard that laugh you would swear he was coming to get you.
Yeah, i lived in Anderson In, this was the best show ever as a kid. i was scared as heck. if you watched this in the dark, you were terrified. the sammy terry pic in the back ground looks scary.
I remember the cornfields in Indiana too and ran over the stubble fields barefoot! We sort of knew Sammy Terry was joking, but we were never quite sure. To this day , Sat night is my favorite night of the week
