  • good

  • how close can this be performed ?

  • Saw the magnets...

  • @xDitrix there are no magents my friend. Both ends are burned to prevent frayed edges.

  • @MagicMaddy

since when the ends turn black/silver? if you look closly you can see the magnets no wonder you when back a little.

btw im just saying my opinion.

  • @xDitrix if u burn cotton it becomes black. And you couldn't be anymore incorrect. As i stated, there are no magnets, its all slight of hand. (And simple slight of hand if i do say so myself)

  • @xDitrix He just explained very clearly that the ends are burned to prevent fraying, which is where the black comes from. You seemed to completely ignore what he said. I know a little about rope magic and I can tell you that all of this is possible with nothing more than two hands and some normal, unprepared rope. No magnets needed. MagicMaddy, next time try dipping the ends in glue and let it dry overnight or for something quicker, melt candle wax and dip the ends in the wax. No black.

  • @Nightmare91o Thanks for the tip, I will try that sometime.

  • Smooth handling of this modern classic, I have the extended DVD and Richard Saunders has routined some fantastic magic- who'd had thought that 3 pieces of rope could create so much fun?!

  • How old were u wen this was made

  • Great stuff! Keep up the good work and ignore the 'haters' - jealousy is a horrible trait.

  • @timlic Thank you :) but some of those "haters" are correct. At the time I made this video I had just learned the effect and was simply following Richard's presentation word-for-word. Luckily, After about 2 years of practice with this trick, I have my own presentation (:

  • Handling is going well, your patter is mostly garbage.

  • @madnuke2 This video was made the day I learned the trick. I just used the patter Richard did. 2 years later.....I have my own patter, my own performing style which is completely different than this.

  • Wow

  • Very cool. It's no gimmick. It's a series of slick rope sleights based around The Professor's Nightmare. Maddy, I noticed your initial rope stretch is different than the traditional way of doing TPN. I tried it and it's actually easier to keep track of the rope ends the way you do it. I'd like to see you perform the routine with an audience. Again, very cool.

  • @kwetzler624 Thank you. I hope to get a live performance soon.

  • is it a gimmick :ss

  • @hkhk19944 Nope, not at all. Just three ropes and two hands.

  • @MagicMaddy fake. you used detachable hands.

  • @quintopia PLEASE DON'T REVEAL THE SECRET TO MY TRICKS!!!!!

  • where did u buy it

  • great performance but it seems kinda awkward to copy the whole patter cause its so "sanders-esque" if you get what i mean^^

  • @JohnomenalMagician This video was made the same day that I learned the routine. I've been doing this trick for about a year now so I've made the patter my own now.

  • I like it but near 3:10 with getting the "ends" again.... that was flawed

  • @YouThinkWho I can't for the life of me see how it was flawed.

  • Awesome!

  • Great job dude!

    Keep up the good work.

Don't worry about all the 'patter' comments. Good individual patter comes with time and repetition.

  • Wow sick dude !

    Hi Five from France !

I'm onna buy this dvd quick !

  • nicely performed.

how long did it took you to get it this smooth?

  • By the end of the day, it was this smooth.

  • by the end of the day of the same day you bought the dvd? wow thats fast.

keep practicing and in two months it will look even more magical

  • and yeah just be yourself, better to not talk at all than just copy someones patter.

    :) but it was good

  • Great job! But try to be more of yourself!

I think there is enought of Rich Sanders in this world! Just be yourself!

  • nice work. i just bought this dvd. let me guess ur are from Tennessee or Kansas?

  • Actually, I'm from Alabama.

  • i knew somewhere in that vicinity(area)

  • very nice work.

i would love to see it with your own patter. keep doing what your doing

  • nice performance dude.Sick

  • srry i didnt mean to post that twice :)

  • That is ok. And yes I remember you :)

  • very good

  • Thank you

  • Nice!

  • Thank you :)

  • Very good performance! You've got the routine down pretty good!Keep them coming!

  • Thanks.
