well one combat rogue do need really high armour penertraion but also need a mixed balance of agilty/hit rateing without hit rateing your armour penertraion is doing nothing basicly also need good crit % u dont really need that much armour penertraion more like 450 or 500 mix it about abit and yh if u go up against a sub rogue or mutilate rogue in wrathful gear u wont do much damage

@wmc1995 Look if you are playing on a fun server there are always bugs..u can't do more damage bicaus its maden like that... It's not about armor penetration or stats...If you have Wrathful and if its free if you attack some1 with Wrathful too,you won't do aloot of damage to him bicaus his resilience whats about 1,1k ...So try to go on a oder server or just duel some one without Wrathful.

IM USING TWILIGHT MIST DAGGER from naxx ON VIDEO. That's why crits like 11k, are incredible without buffs.

At the moment, it's not possible to crit like that with shitty weapons like naxx dagger (check vid date 11.04.2009) because Blizzard has fixed ambush crit powerfull talent like Lethality and nerfed ambush as skill.

After ambush kidney shot then I use ambush 3 times usually die if he didn't remove the shadow dance and u already have 5 point then give him eviscerate =)

@christiandoritos Havent had much 80 retail experience but i know a few rogues, and have played a shit ton of private servers to say i at least know what im doing, go with what you prefer, with sub assas build you can go for improved evis, but generally that sucks on plate, then again envenom requires 5 doses of deadly poison, and if your in a tight spot and you need to blind, the dot will break the blind or gouge or whatever. so try em both its all up to you.

Want to know how to crit incredibly high? FIght poorly geared 80s with no resi at all ;) Max hit on about 900 resi is gonna be somthin like 6k ish. and at that point usually every opponent has 25k+ hp, so ur gonna have to do some work.

@GreenLineTech I kill three at a time sometimes. It's not about gear it's about skill, and not getting hit. Sap one, blind another, ambush, eviscerate another, and followed by massive DPS. Stealth, resap, and ambush the blinded fool, eviscerate, and DPS again. have preparation clicked for reset of cooldowns. One final resap, ambush and repeat. It's all in the skill.

Also, no matter what class you play there's always something you can do to counter it. Pallys really aren't so leet sauce anymore. Holy ones take forever to kill, Ret ones have high burst so you can't just head in all berserker-like, and Prot ones do quite a bit of damage considering their defenses. But all you have to do is learn your class a little better and they're not bad.
