@fromthesidelines This is very interesting history about TV broadcasting.
I sent you via personal mail , a history of the CBC in Canada from 1946 to 1958.
The first microwave link in Canada was from CBC Toronto to Buffalo , NY, so that US programming could be part of CBC Toronto's TV lineup.

announcer says at the end that Ed Wynn Show is broadcast on Sat. nights. But 3 Nov 1950 was a Friday.

I kept these cancer stick commrcials in as they were , for the most, integrated into this particular show.
