  • Peter Joseph should stick to this line of reasoning, as flawed as it is, instead of attacking religion and other organizations to promote his " cause "...this would never work btw. The Venus project is no different than the NWO..taking children away from parents to " educate " them in the way they see fit is WRONG. Picking and choosing who in the future will be allowed to have children is wrong...that is the society this mental patient is promoting. Greed will ALWAYS be a factor.

  • @InsideOUT37 It is not a perfect system, but its much better than the world we live in today.

  • @ARXChrono..don't believe it.." somebody " will have to make decisions in his make believe world. " Somebody " will have to decide who will be allowed to have children or hold positions of authority..the U.S constitution is the best chance that humanity has and it is RIGHT NOW being dismantled by people with the same goals as this quack..one world government..one set of rules for everyone OR ELSE. :/

  • 7:58 Holy fucking shit!

Before they were talking about this I was literally thinking about it in my head trying to figure out how we would be able to lower the price on food, but still resolve all the lost jobs. How would that work? All the farmers would be out of the job but food would be much easier to come by. Right? I never thought of things this way.

If money (or resources in general) is the source of most criminal activity, once we eliminate the cost of things then we eliminate crime?

  • Hi

  • I really just don't understand at what point you think you're going to have your freedom stripped from you. When society strips of the price tag on everything and instead says we got the resources and the technology to do it, so we will just do it.

  • hunger and labor providing every human being with all they need to live a happy peaceful life. And you think some where in there is *GASP* communism The Red Terror!

Someone out to steal your sense of self your individualism, Your mind must be a scary place.

  • @BlackThornRomeo Innovation can come in any form someone could see something and think to themselves "what if it did this?"

Other inventions can come from someone saying "what if we tried this" or "wouldn't it be cool if we could..." you get where I'm going.

Peter Joseph wants to eliminate the monetary system and so do I. At no point do i ask you to sacrifice your free will or "individuality" that you feel you could be robbed of.

Someone takes away the monetary system freeing the world from...

  • @TheDebtisslavery You know what? I'm not even gonna waste my time with someone who doesn't have the fortitude to directly reply to my comments. You must've deliberately typed in @BlackThornRomeo because your reply did not register in my inbox which speaks volumes about your character. FYI, Peter Joseph doesn't want to get rid of the monetary system alone, he wants to get rid of trade in general. Maybe you should re-watch your propaganda.

  • @BlackThornRomeo yes i use the text box instead of hitting reply its more a force of habit than anything else. Having an argument over the internet is a utter waste of time.

Instead perhaps you could explain why removing trade in general would be such a terrible thing as apposed to the alternative which is the current system.

  • @BlackThornRomeo Of course you got nothing.

  • Wow your mind is getting the wires crossed at so many points im surprised I didn't get a seizure just reading your rubbish.

First of all i am quite obviously aware whom created the resource based economy concept.

What peter does is try and get more acknowledgement directed towards it.

He would carefully make sure that beyond any doubt in his presentations who Jaque Fresco is.

As for your idea of competition leads to innovation that is true in a small way... Continued

  • Both Zeitgeist and Russia Today are controlled opposition to the big boys' agendas.

Communism was set up as an experiment in social farming.

Zeitgeist is simply another.. attempted incarnation of such thinking.

People are just not as gullible as they once were to base impulses.. therefore not so steer-able.

    We see you for..

    95% truth with 5% lie.

That 5% lie is what galvanised I-deal-s in the past.

  • I'll agree that the army does something psychological before i joined i was quite relaxed and easy going, but my anger is something toxic now, it feels like my blood is acid and my spit is venom.

I kick holes through walls, destroy things just because want something to break. and i wouldn't even know why i feel such rage.

  • this news guy is definetly reading off a board, im sure he is smart but he has no idea what peter joseph is talking about.

  • There is no need for technology when you live graciously... stop selling the plot to the naive.. stop buying the plot

  • the guy doing the interview is a donkey

  • Meeting human needs is a social imperative, a social responsibility for our successful coexistence on this planet. How can we expect a peaceful society when you have to compete for your very survival?

  • "nothing has really changed; We are living in an advanced form of feudalism and nothing more"

  • Peter Joseph is a cult personality who aims to establish a Scfi scientific bureaucracy where an elitist group of intellectuals will decide what to distribute and to who under the guise of the scientific method. He is a strong advocate of the Voltaire philosophy which is why i strongly urge people to look beyond the promises of his filmography and investigate all his claims, his sources, his ideology (because all men are driven by their beliefs), and how will his resource based theory pan out.

  • @BlackThornRomeo I feel i have quite an adequite grasp of the resource based economy concept but i have no idea what your judgements are based upon.

The fact you appear to think that the resource based economy (theory?) is created by Peter Joseph indicates to me that you're the one whom really needs to do some home work. lol.

  • @TheDebtisslavery You haven't grasped a word I said. The resource based economic theory is Fresco's brainchild, but Peter Joseph put his own spin on it stating that it should be based strictly on the scientific method and pure logic. This troubles me because man is not a purely logical creature, and Peter Joseph as well as fresco understands that for this system to work mankind would have to discard a very important facet of it's identity, the ego or individual self. continued

  • @TheDebtisslavery It is the ego or individual thought that drives men to compete because we all have different ideas..Competition allows us to pit our ideas against one another, and which ever idea is more viable and sufficient will be the victor. From there the successful idea is put into action until an even better idea comes along. You see individual thought is a byproduct of a free society and competition is a byproduct of individual thought. If you get rid of competition, then you will..

  • @TheDebtisslavery have a collectivist society where individual thought would not be acknowledged, it's called communism.

  • "I am not a 'Doomsday Theorist'. I am simply looking at the statistics. If we aren't adapting ourselves to renewables, which we have plenty of, we just need the systems approach to energize them and get them going, to change the global infrastructure, which we could easily do if there's an interest to do so. Again, it's a technical phenomenon. We don't need money to do it; we just do it. Ya'know what I mean?" YES!!!

  • "It's time we just go straight to it: Because we understand it now. Science -- I say that but I don't quite understand what I mean -- I'm not talking about an esoteric view. We're talking about firm physical science of what it means to meet the needs of the human population."

Hardly a condidence building statement; but Mr. Joseph is honest enough to state, however obliquely, that pure science ended over 50 yrs ago. He is referring to Scientism, the worship of the symbols/rituals of Science

  • The Venus Project is COMMUNISM 2.0

No? Let's review. TVP calls for:

    1) The elimination of private property.

    2) The elimination of money.

    3) Centralized control of everything.

    4) Global sharing of everything.

    5) The promise that all of life's problems will magically disappear.

Gee, where have I heard this agenda before? PJ's final solution to all our problems is nothing more than a repackaged version of COMMUNISM.

So, if you support TVP, then you support COMMUNISM. Admit it. OWN IT.

  • @BRYAN351 : "all" problems? magically? still true, communism in the original sense of the word, has a lot in common with this. Except there's still a state in communism. This has more in common with anarchy actually.

  • @selvmordspilot Communism Capitalism & Socialism arose in an intellectual environment which assumed the Earth was an infinite resource. Since then it appears the only infinite resource is human stupidity.

Why do people find it so hard to think for themselves; think critically; trust your own nervous system? Yet adherents exist for every cock & bull story handed down during the last 10,000 years. Why do people loathe freedom so much? Ideology can be rejected simply because it stifles thought.

  • @atrios28 : I don't exactly agree, which is to say i do not entirely disagree. Our own nervous systems cannot be relied on to work out how to live together, 7billion people on this finite planet. We need to work together, and thus - we need to agree. Ideology is nothing but an attempt to find something we can agree about. I consider the resource based economy an ideology (perhaps the greatest yet) - even though Fresco wont admit it.

I like you rethoric, though.. so thumbs up for that :)

  • Did he really say @ 10:00 that 1 out of 4 veterans commit suicide? I certainly don't believe that. But I think PJ does has some very good ideas.

  • @Hootowl54 Aren't you interested in finding out what the percentage is? It would be different for different wars so take one which is over...say the Vietnam War (over for the most part: only the Baby Boomers sadly continue to fight it with their "beliefs")

  • @atrios28 I would like to know what the percentage is. If he would have prefaced his claim with an "according to...," it would have made it a little more believable because then we could have searched and confirmed. Anyway, I am certain the suicide rate among war veterans is excessively high. All veterans are to be honored.

  • @Hootowl54 Then stop being a victim and go look it up using the most powerful tool yet invented by humans ...

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, so according to Peter, if everyone stopped fighting and got along...we'd all be getting along? What a profound insight.

  • Peter Joseph highlights what needs to be done on our planet to make society better as a whole. A material abundant and socially sustainable society, and at the same time creating an emerged balance with the creation/design of society, technology, and environmental concern. The monetary system based on corporate profit mechanisms at present day, does nothing but advocate 'scarcity'. This subsequently leads to negative human behaviour, rise in crime, unemployment, and un just illegal wars.

  • Absolutely well done..incredible..much love & respect to Peter Joseph!

  • Peter's last name is not Joseph, it's Merola.

  • when an ideal becomes something of fanaticism it can get bad real fast. Careful of the level of emotion you put into this. Yes it's a great Idea and yes it is inevitable at least soon within the US. So use a calm demeanor and collectively learn and spread the knowledge. I am not saying don't get excited because you have been freed by this glimmer of hope. Equality, pursuit of knowledge, and the mature progression/ preservation of all human kind. Just try not to turn it into blind emotion..

  • @DawnofTheTruth

If being 'fanatical' as you put it about the over-all good of our our planet and every living thing on it is a crime, then lock me up for life! What a ridiculous argument. Emotion can be the engine that drives both positive and negative action, emotion itself is not necessarily a bad thing, as long as its tempered with intelligence. A resource based economy and the intelligent application of the scientific method will benefit ALL living things.

  • @TheWarrior1986 Ok? So you just agreed with me then cause every thing you said were my words in a different context. Maybe you misunderstand my words and through your passionate emotion, lost sight of your rational tempered intelligence? Let me try to clarify, I meant that blindly following "any" ideology is dangerous. Seeing as you perceived my comment as a threat to your way of thinking is a good example. Then again, perhaps maybe even I read you wrong if so I apologies. And I do agree.

  • @DawnofTheTruth

I agree, but the key word there is 'blindly'.There is nothing blind (or even remotely unclear for that matter) about the direction/objectives of the Zeitgeist Movement. Please see the Movement Orientation Guide for more information. I would be interested to hear your thoughts.

  • @TheWarrior1986 First let me say that my original post was a reply, if I remember correctly to some one I thought to be leaning towards belief over knowledge. I just wanted to make sure to point that out so the wrong ideas were not bred. That being said, I am already a member have read/watched the orientation as well as Jacque's project base. Moreover I followed and thought this way long before I knew of the TZM and TVP. I never suggested that the folks of either were in any way "blind". more?

  • @DawnofTheTruth

Ok. Well then I apologize as I must have picked you up wrong. I did not find the previous comment in the thread, I just read your response/comment. But im glad we have intelligent people like your self on-side. Have you looked at any of Max Igan's work? He takes a more spiritual look at the problems society faces today, which I think is a good balance to the 'cold hard facts' approach adopted by Zeitgeist (which I am in full agreement with by the way).

  • @TheWarrior1986 No apologies needed I had an idea of your main intentions. Interaction as I am sure you know, is a means to understanding one another clearly. I cant say as I am aware to any of Igan's material. Though I vaguely recall that name, I think? What title(s) would you recommend?

  • @DawnofTheTruth

Tough one, because I find generally all of his work is very good. I would probably suggest starting with 'The Calling' (it is a condensed version of 3 previous feature length works which you might want to watch individually afterwards..). On YouTube, he goes under the name aodscarecrow. And his channel is called The Crow House Video Channel. Would be interested to hear your thoughts! Could you tell me where I might be able to find info on Jaques project base?

  • @TheWarrior1986 I had already started watching calling a little while ago, so that's good that I chose the right one. To the best of my knowledge I think TZM already has the complete basics from Jacque on the main site. Otherwise you can check out thevenusprojectmedia on youtube and just to show how far ahead of the times he was search larry king interview 1974 and that is probably about the best visual sources I can think of also Kymatica is an interesting documentary. All on youtube.

  • @surfstrate he is no leader he is a vioce for the venus projekt and there is no leader

  • @Ikazu1991 not true.

  • The journalist is retarted.

  • Sure we can write in a 3rd candidate, but even if every person in this country voted....say....Adam Sandler for president, the electoral college would not vote him in...and its the electoral college who's votes really matter.

  • At the very least, we need to make ENERGY FREE for all.

  • To ALL ZM advocates: WE CITIZENS CAN NOW CHOOSE A 3rd PARTY CANDIDATE FOR 2012!!! B SURE 2 PASS THIS ON ONLY 2 THOSE WHO R LIKE-MINDED AS US!!!

    americanselect[D0T]org

  • Be careful of the pied piper! What is Peters last name? Rockefeller? Rothschild? Reynolds? Venus = Lucifer Open your mind!!

  • @sawguner What are i talking about?

  • Hi everybody. I'm from Spain, and here there are now a little revolution, the #15M Movement

We only ask for TRUE DEMOCRACY!! (Yes, nowaday ask for a true democracy is a revolutionary act...).

This October 15 there are convocated a WORLD DEMOSTRATION. Look for "international.democraciarealya" in google.

    ¡¡JOIN THE WORLD REVOLUTION!!

  • 22 people are seriously indoctrinated !

  • @MrsRL "MOVE and be useful to YOUR family and crowd ."

What's with this fascination with hereditary relationships? Some members of my direct hereditary bio-group might as well be grounded up as pet food for all I care. And why should I be "useful"? To whom should I be "useful" to? Somebody that finds me useful? Wouldn't that mean the people that find me useful are my users and I'm being used by them? The limitations of present language is astounding.

  • @technatezin I ment try to be useful to YOURSELF by the social action of "faking useful to others" (not in the bad, greedy, meaning) , just as the "pact to cross the bridge" . The language and mind power is unlimited but still , instincts always prime , something sadly , something in our favor . The point is , as u mentioned a bit , anything is manipulated , even this movement which u tend to...."believe" .U hug the idea ,but u let yourself blinded like the cheap magicians tricks .Check backstage

  • WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU ? DUST OFF MY ASS AND WATCH THE WINDOW OUTSIDE . Too much PC usage has deformed you , twat . U know what a comment means ? Of course ashes to ashes . Meanwhile u can go back to cartoons and dream to "world of future" , omg i thought people are more mature than that. The life isn't perfect at all , but jump off that "superior tone" which doesn't fits u at all since u are guarding kids at kinder school and vegetating like a fag thinking at a pink world .Comprehend big words.

  • @MrsRL "guarding kids at kinder school and vegetating like a fag thinking at a pink world .Comprehend big words."

Now, why would I do a thing like that? Anything can be a game. Anything can including cartoons can be manipulated to mean whatever the hell the author of the cartoon wants it too mean. A cartoon about scientists inventing something useful could just as well be as amusing as a cartoon about cannibals eating people.

  • @MrsRL (cont.) Don't believe me? Well, alrighty:

    youtube[dot]com / watch?v=zphz8RyPh5w

Cartoon cannibals look pretty funny to me. My first kill a German tourist. ha ha!

But, seriously. Chewing on somebody's relative gets real boring and dangerous after a while especially when you know they're also out to chew on your thighs when they get the chance.

  • @MrsRL Thank you. Your contribution to human progress has been noted. When "the end" comes your game score will also be noted, but not your legacy. Ashes to ashes. You'll be welcomed as plant food.

  • I think that's an equivocation fallacy. I would build a playhouse for my kid for free. But I wouldn't build one for yours unless I was incentivized. We are subject to competition because resources are limited, and Zeitgeist can't make unlimited resources. If you do away with money, there will still be inherent value in resources, because of scarcity. I know you're well meaning, but there are some flaws to Zeitgeist. You may think I'm still plugged in, but this is our reality. Stay up man.

  • "We don't need money to do it, we just do it." So, how do you convince people to build windmills with no incentive? The Zeitgeist movement is flawed because it doesn't take individual interest into account. Who "decided" what is built, where it is built? Someone will be in control, and they will be your next dictator under this plan. We do NOT live in a free market because the government and the corps are the same (Fed Reserve). A true free market (look it up) allows for what he wants.

  • @cecalder The incentive is the greater good, no? It's hard to think about how things could be, when you're living in the matrix. We need to break out first, then .. when we are no longer subject to competition and greed, we will understand why we want to do things, and the value of doing things. Would you build a playhouse for your children for no financial reward? of course you would. Understanding that we're one family, we would all do this for each other. Besides, EVERYONE gets fed.

  • Peter Joseph is a Prophet! This guy nails it, and has balls. I wish I can protect him

  • @AssassinationCitizen

and you a dumb fuck... lol no ur not :D:D i was jokin...

but u should open ur eyes man :D:D

    Peter is weird...

  • Peter Joseph for President!

  • give him the car and when he sees one he likes better he gonna steal it. shiiitt come on man!

  • @TemerityApparel try think of it more rationally. If people have what they need. in this case the car, they will not feel the need to steal it. It is only in the culture we live in that having a nicer car is desirable.

  • In a hundred years or less if we don't change our system, then we will die

  • This reporter sounds SO ROTE like this is just a pro-piece (as opposed to a HIT-piece) and not really a journalistic piece. ZZZZZZ

  • I always asked people the same question: Why don't you just give him a car? Then he won't steal one.

  • It is undeniable that capitolism is a flawed system that has reached its inevitable implosion point.

  • Zeitgeist is a brilliant concept. I fear it is an idea too late. It looks like Fukushima is going to nip the human race in the bud very shortly. If only we had a little more time. As a human, I am deeply saddened our race is about to fail.

  • operators of the venus project and zietgiest are focused on the wrong thing find a country willing to donate a large plot of land to build the first city or negotiate cheap land. find mom and pop shops that know how to produce this tech and ask them to donate resources or give them away for cheap.someone somewhere must be willing

  • Honestly, I'm surprised the FBI hasn't shot him yet, for he seems intelligent and says intelligent things. Maybe they just assume the masses are simply too stupid to understand.

  • @OfficialJabberwocky If they shoot him they make him a martyr... a legend... and his people even more pissed and focused.

Its not about the leader, its about the idea and ideas can't be killed.

  • @SubSurreal Yeah but history shows many trigger-happy idiots aren't smart enough to realize that.

  • Central Control of Resources will end in rationing of Vital Human needs to the Majority while the Elite bath themselves in abundance . Don't let them fool you this is Bolshevism 101 . This is all about International Population Control , they are following the Blue Print of NSSM200

  • @2Numb2Care You are missing the notion that this system will eventually fail. Soon Capitalism wont be "sweet" and there wont be the chance to "move up in life". After 200 years of capitalism it has only gotten worse. With the new technology and knowledge we have today, this system is "outdated". I cant believe how ignorant you are of how capitalism works... yeah sure nothing wrong with being wealthy, but there is always a short end of the stick, and that stick is getting shorter my friend.

  • @2Numb2Care Maybe once a while you can here about an individual who rose to wealth from an impoverished society, but it does not make it possible for every impoverished societies or even most them.

Yet I don't think I really get your point - you would have the wealthy bring in as many children as possible while the impoverished aren't entitled to that right? How's that equal? I don't mean to be rude, but you seem to take no care for equality in your capitalist "democratic," society.

  • 1,000,000 people for Peter Joseph on Real Time with Bill Maher

check it out on facebook. We need to increase awareness!

  • @2Numb2Care

"Capitalism regulates itself given limited government intervention."

Concentration of capital creates monopolies like DeBeers, destroying the free market. Government is simply a form of such concentration. DeBeers is just one monopoly which is privately owned. The Federal Reserve monopoly is also privately owned. "Government intervention" is simply the result of lobbying, and most lobbying is spawned by private wealth. No contemporary "-ism" has a mechanism for preventing this.

  • The VP requires decentralized power generation to work. Without that, any power can be concentrated, first physically, then economically, and finally politically, after which we are back to were we started (i.e. oligopoly).

Unfortunately, neither the VP nor TZM has mastered the concept of this need of decentralized power.

Also, without 100% bootstrap financing, it will be impossible for a prototype city to not be subject to ownership by external investors and speculators.

  • @2Numb2Care You can brag about survival of the fittest and other romanticized notions like it which to you justfity the problems in this system, but as a global society it is our responsibility to constantly try to improve our standard of living as a whole. The only things working actively toward goal that are science and technology. Taking the scientific method into social design (which is what RBE is all about) is what will save 35K starving children everyday, not capitalism or any other -ism.

  • @2Numb2Care I find it wrong for someone to have gold covered toilet seats while another has to work inhumane shifts in sweatshop factories just to barely cover extremely minimal costs of living. How is a child born into a poor neighbourhood in South Africa is to blame? Why is he condemned to search junkyards full of physical and health hazards while those born into wealth don't have to do anything to survive?

    Continuation in the next comment.

  • @2Numb2Care This wonderful system lets 34,000 children die every single day not from lack of food and treatment, but from lack of the monetary power to purchase it. In this wonderful system, 1% of the entire world population owns nearly HALF of the wealth. Equality, which is the most important aspect of a true sustainable society, is impossible to practice in this system. It is not designed to take care of the majority - it was built in a time where scarcity was a reality, much unlike today.

  • @2Numb2Care It's a great suggestion - the best way to make your hypothesis stronger is to look for contradicting evidence. Do you have any of the main points of Basic Economics, since I doubt I'll actually have time to get the book..?

  • do peter joeph ever read these commits

  • @cocotanya31 i mean comments

  • @2Numb2Care True - though it's not a slogan or anything, just bad word usage by Peter Joseph (which doesn't exist in his films and most of talks) which is forgiveable IMO.

Could you specify which logical holes you mean, though?

  • Peter has got a bit of a tan, he looks healthy and younger

  • @2Numb2Care the "just give him the car" is exaggerated a bit. What Peter means is that instead of letting someome steal a car, making transportation (the main use of most automobiles) free and available to everyone (along with every other service necessary to human survival and recreation) will make every monetary related crime go away - that comprises of 95% of total crime.

  • Kudos to RT for hiring brain damaged interviewers.

  • Basic human desire is that once man has what he needs, he wants what his neighbor has and devises a plan to separate his neighbor from it so that he may take it for himself. The grass is greener on the other side, even if it is artificial turf. I've seen cows in green pastures craning their neck through a fence to get at the grass a few feet out of reach. My dog routinely steals the cat's food and she is a very nice and loving animal. My neighbor swindled me out of $300 and wasted it on beer.

  • @hobbsinc wtf are you talking about? your way off the mark buddy

  • @hobbsinc And how many research have you done on that other than your own personal life, being a 1/6,775,235,700 fraction of the entire, global population which, if you've yet to realize, this is all about?

  • Peter Joseph is almost as big a crackpot as Jaques Fresco.

  • Zeitgeist movement site ranked 51-000 on alexa ranking... gyess spreading the word isnt going ot well haha.

  • zeitgeist should go around to public elementary schools and spread the word.

  • This is a terrible interviewer hahaha.

  • ZM and TVP have now split

  • Comment removed

  • This interviewer has NO IDEA what he is asking Peter.

  • $10 a gallon.Wow, imagine that. That'd be a hell of an awakening, but I'm afraid most people still wouldn't be able to comprehend or ever think possible that the solution (if that so should happen) would be to get rid of money. We learn pretty much nothing about this idea and really are uninspired to ever think about which just because the alternative is never(or seldomly?)brought up and the monetary system is too engraved in our minds.I even didn't think too much of the ability to lose the dollar

  • Yeah, It worry me too that we not moving fast enough.

  • LET'S START BY BOYCOTTING THE BANKS PEOPLE!!!!!! THE FUTURE IS IN OUR HANDS NOT OBAMA'S. SERIOUSLY THINK ABOUT IT.

  • @tropical481 I agree. And boycott all the big oil companies that I've already compiled like Chevron, Exxon, BP (don't know why were even buying from them in the first place!!), and Shell (among others). If you're going to buy gasoline than go with Racetrak, Valero, or Marathon. As they are some of the smaller oil companies.

  • @tropical481 I just moved all of my money out of Citi bank like two months ago. Get it all moving to the smaller banks, it doesn't really matter which ones so long as they are keeping that money in small businessowners hands. Close this damn wealth gap is step one.

  • @Lakopa8 Awesome.

The people have more power than they think. :)

  • @Lakopa8 - that's whats gonna work!

  • I love his effort, it inspires me into beliving in a better future and in humanity high potencial as a caring and earth-preserving species who's reason for existance is way beyond food sex and money. Let's make our life time here on earth meaningful. Work for the greater good without taking shortcuts, aware that the ends do not justify the means and that we all must fight our own ego and really respect our fellow human being for everything he is.

  • Man.... can you imagine to have Joseph become President !!!! Wowww.. I hope he is NOT jew otherwise corruption and violence will grow again... OOOppss I am not allowed to critise the JEWS !!.... Well I just did !! .. Jews are killing the freedom of Speech and thinking in name of racism... We need to control ANY selective law and control

  • @2209835 Cant tell if trolling, or just stupid

  • @gram3b Wow what an interlliegnt reaction... You have to read my comment to better understand that I was supporing Joseph. I am promoting his video for the last 2 years. Any way ... Peace with you...

  • Peter Joseph - You're BRILLIANT!!

  • What can I do as an individual to help? I really don't want to spend my life in the rat race going to work every day just to support a system that I know doesn't work. What can I do, I am so lost?

  • @KNIFECON I know how you feel. You are not that lost, you are already awake.

  • nobody will produce anything until this new "resource based economy" is actually put in place, not just thought out in somebody's imagination of a nicer world... Millions will die either way once this economy finally implodes.

  • Utter Madness! What's the first thing that would happen if money didn't exist right now, today... Transport would stop, Shop shelves would be empty, People would be looting and stealing... People will be squatting in their own homes with no basic utilities like water, gas, electricity or heating... people will just be disorganised! The critically ill will die in their hospital beds because life support will be cut off... He offers no provisions for this...

  • @XXTheRealMcCoyXX Your obviously misunderstanding the whole concept of how to live without a monetary system. We won't be stealing cuz everything is free. Transport will be better than ever and the shelves will be overflowing with goods.

  • @psolaz

lol, so just flip a switch and everybody decides to turn over to the new system? Your living in a dream world mate... Things will be a a total anarchy before they get better. I've not heard one word on how they would implement and facilitate such an endeavour where there are no provisions for such a system... How would we transcend into a resource based economy before the current one we have collapse and everything goes to hell???

  • @psolaz

also, don't forget the resistance we face in getting there... I'm anticipating riots in the west... It's going to be a slow painful change!

  • @XXTheRealMcCoyXX It does not seem like you actually understand how the proposed resource-based economy works. Watching Zeitgeist Addendum and other videos explaining the proposed system will help.

  • @FrameSticker

I'm not arguing or in disagreement with the proposed system, Please read my other comments below... I've already watched it 3 times, both 2008 & 2009 So please tell me which other videos are explaining how we are not in IMMINENT Economic collapse right at this moment? What dose the world do in the mean time? Just wait about until everybody around the world agrees on how to ration out the earths resources? My point is, people don't just change overnight. who dose?

  • @FrameSticker

The Current World Economy as we know it today needs to collapse before anything else happens, would you not agree? What do you believe is going to happen once it has completely collapsed? The world believes it is in dept that is in fact imaginary dept right? but that doesn't make the impact any less real dose it? Who long will it take to get this Resource Based Economy in place? dose the videos answer that?

  • @XXTheRealMcCoyXX I don't know if the current world economy needs to collapse before anything else happens, to be completely honest. However, before we can make such a transition we first need to convince the society of the proposed solution. The movies do not adhere to the transition - only to the proposed solution and refutes to arguments against it. I would certainly like to discuss this with you but can't seem to able to send you a private message - do you know why that is?

  • @FrameSticker

Not sure, I find that Youtube isn't really the best place for mature discussion, I'll be Joining the Zeitgeist forum as soon as I can think of an appropriate username, One thing is for sure... change needs to start here and now... We can't keep going on like this much longer, but I can't see any other way through it without suffering at least SOME growth pains... we've been going through this cycle for over 1000 years remember...

  • @XXTheRealMcCoyXX Shit you're right. 1000 years. No wander people are so conditioned. Like Jaque Fresco always says, people need to lose faith in the system in order to change, and the only way that's likely to happen is if the system collapses. But it worries me that Peter Joseph's saying it's going to be an extremely slow process, and not so much a wake up call.

  • @XXTheRealMcCoyXX This is not going to happen over night. Obviously a long painful transition will have to occur. You can ease it by being more involved in your community. I imagine a collapse occurring, communities getting off the grid, converting the financial buildings etc, into practical structures like vertical farms, etc.

  • Having to be a slave to the corporate establishment and being braindead consumers is what makes Americans simply Americans. People are essentially sheep who puts up w/ a lot of shit as far as letting the rich get richer at the expense of the lower economic classes. And until people as a whole have the balls to do something about it, it's only going to get worst.

  • 1000 likes, 20 dislikes, yet look at the conflict in these comments. the naysayers are very vocal indeed.

  • 3:33 "The capitalist free market system I don't believe is going to hold up that much longer..."

I wouldn't call our current system very capitalist or much of a free market at all. The government taxes us to devote our efforts towards destructive military and wars. In a true free market absent of a government monopoly on violence, I highly doubt people would pay for such things. Also, the government controls the value of the money we use. How is that free market capitalism? We need anarchy.

  • @WelcometotheUnknown

We had a free market system at one point in America. Haven't you read the Jungle? Dont you remember the time where children were put into labor and abused? Dont you remember how major companies did terrible things to their food supplies? Without the so called "regulations," there wouldn't even be nutrition facts on our food. Now our government is corrupt, but the flow of money is alltogether, inherently corrupt and dangerous.

  • Peter Joseph for President!

  • Russia Today FTW

    The Zeitgeist Movement FTW

    The Venus Project FTW

  • @voiceofreason467 Well, there WAS a form of belief that was equivilant to giving away your entire state of being for a simple, ignorant ideal. Oh, wait there still is, but it goes by a different name, Christianity

  • ...what a moron. "Yeah, wtf, lets just get rid of currency!"

  • "We live in an advanced form of feudalism": OH shit goddammit This guy said it correctly!

  • The only words that I agree on are ''People should look for alternative sources of information, people should look at references given by them''. Sadly it's not what zeitgeist movement is about.

  • I WANT to sit Down with a pot of chai tea and listen to Peter Joseph and Obama Go at it !!!

  • @Focusedthought: Amazing. I would prefer Tenuate rather. But great idea. It could be far below most people expectations but giving the kind of debates we have today (the same group discussing the same issue) I think it would be worth to try.

  • @Focusedthought Brilliant !!!

  • @Focusedthought

oh! Peter Joseph would make the whole white house look like a circus stage, I'm sure.

  • @Focusedthought If that were true, then I would feel sorry for obama, then his dream of the perfect little world that kisses his ass would be over! :D

  • @Focusedthought me too

  • If you have Ever Tried to Explain Things to someone or a group of people like Peter Joseph and fuked it up ! >>> Click that shit right thur >>>>>

  • Peter gives Jecque Fresco his props in the beginning!!

  • Peter always amazes me. Makes so much sense. I wish more people would understand his logic.

  • Although I am on board with the idea of the Zeitgeist , lets not make false arguments. The people I know some people who have stolen cars and they are usually drug addicts who steal cheap cars and hardened criminals who target expensive cars. It is not a one off 30K, it's hundreds of cars over a lifetime. Yes there is a problem with the jail system. The underlying problem is it is easier to steal than work. A 30K car will take about 15 minutes to steal and cost 4 years of work to pay for.

  • @Zooni2 yes but in a RBE why steel a car. the only reason would be a joy ride, or emergency. the latter i don't anyone would care. After a while they even say oh are they OK did they get there in time?

  • @MrPurpose79 When the RBE kicks in then all Mcdonalds will close down through lack of interest and be turned into museums.
