Didn't he say this was kind of a joke on how crazy people are for love, always dating, always breaking up? All of a sudden he sees his girl and goes crazy for her, always trying to talk to her, and she kinda gets freaked out. She's the sole focus of his affections, caught like a deer in his headlights. It means something. =D
