hey i have the same alarm on this video & i took it off my other car 2put it in my self in my new car but i dont know were the green wires go 2 i know i goes 2the solid yellow but what about the other one any body help me plz thankz
i have the exact same remote..and it doesnt light up. Only when i change the battery does the orange LCD backlight come on...WTH !! middle of the night and alarm is going off i hit the button but no lights..very frustrating.
@advtactics01 hey bro go on your manual and should tell you how to make the turn on wen its off its called power save mode you put the remote on program mode and i think u press unlock and it takes it power save mode id double chek your manual just be sure hope this helps
@jesuscamacho91 if i had the remote i would :(...since that post my alarm was actually deactivated :( i took it into the shop to have it looked at because it wasn't unlocking and locking my doors....performance shop said the brain was not wired correctly and that it would be working properly....i'm thinking about getting a compustar (RF-P2W9000-SS)
@jesuscamacho91 im not to familiar with compustar but ive had my alarm for a good 3 years now and its never failed on me it depends how the installer does the work and most shops dnt no what theyre doing and go ahead and do it and people think viper python are the bad ones personally i wouldnt go with anything other than directed electronics but good luck to u bro
@jesuscamacho91 heres a couple of tips for your next alarm ask them to wire every door to the door trigger not the dome light for the remote start ask for the tach learn not a set time because u never no a cars attitude and wen u mite grind the hell out your starter and the hood pin switch very people usually dnt get this done but i memorized that manual and asked just about everything on there done if possible and sum xtra sensors its almost the unsteable car good luck on your next alarm
yea the clutch is very easy to bypass but not recomended the correct way to do it on the new units is to hook the wire to the clutch so what happens in order to start it is you got to push in the clutch let out hit the brake set the parking brake and lock the door if the door is unlocked before remote starting it all has to bedone over again.
bypassing a clutch takes about 5 minutes to do and you use 2 relays..i dont recommend but i have it on my 2 personal vehicles...if you leave it in gear it will jump...
I don't know much about electronics or installing them I just went on what the guy told me. I think im taking it back anyway because the car I bought has an alarm system but not like this. Not sure if I want some tech dude ripping apart my dash
Nice... I used to have a Viper system in my old car, but I totalled it and Best Buy wouldn't uninstall it from my car. But it was pretty sweet, it was the car alarm and automatic starter. How much did you pay for this one??
I payed around $400 Canadian for this with the installation fee included and an extra $50 to get the disarm button to unlock the doors too. Next I just need a car haha, still on the hunt for one
What kind of car are you thinking about? Still getting the BMW you talked about below?? You should get an Infiniti :) Especially if you live in Canada and it snows, because I have a g35x and it's awd! Works good in the snow.
I have until Saturday to decide if I want to buy this guys 2005 Acura TL 6 speed. Its a really nice car but im having trouble getting all of the funds together. My bday was today so some of that money will help haha
I have an Alpine White 2004 BMW 330Ci that im about to get, the dealer is being a bit of a pain though and its 950 miles away so i'll have to get it shipped

With a manual car it takes more work because they have to bypass the clutch. That takes a lot of money to do.

Aww, Happy Birthday! Acura's are good looking cars, but I don't really like them too much since they're FWD. But you're the one driving it!
