i think this car made the phantom redundant. the phantom is slightly bigger, slightly roomier, less powerful, and a hell of a lot more ostentatious, yet costs about £100,000 more?! who's going to spend that over the ghost? not me!

unfortunately you have your facts wrong Rolls Royce is owned by BMW and Bently is owned by VW. Back in the old days they where under the same motor group which had been split up and sold.

even if you are rich you do not need a V12. the car is beautiful (except for the rear brake lights) but it needs to loose some weight so it will run just as good with a v8.

Run just as good with a V8? False. It's a very heavy car at 5445 lbs. and would struggle with a V8. On the other hand, a Twin Turbo V12 would help it get along with ease and would provide a much smoother ride.
