As much as I love Fallout 2, I have to admit that I was disappointed by its ending. Why did I have to destroy the Enclave? Why didn't they allow me to make a choice? Hell, you even could join the mutants in FO1, but you are forced to destroy the greatest hope for the human species in FO2! I really didn't like that.

So about 3 areas were cut (Sulik's tribe,Some place full of monks, and an area called EPA some research facility),a part of the den called den residential was cut(but,you can aces it if you press 3 when on town world map of it !) and there were about 4 or 5 ways that the Oil rig ending was going to happen but instead there is only 1.

I feel so bad for the enclave, they tried so hard fighting for their country, except the enclave's goals were too extreme, too prejudice against the people of the wasteland, except some enclave members weren't prejudice killing machines. Examples of this were colonal autumn, who wanted to get the purifier working instead of killing everyone. Sometimes, I wish the enclave won.

He was still a dickhole and his methods are what caused the deaths of many innocents along with the Lone Wanderer's father who was just trying to get the purifiier working to promote better living conditions for the Wasteland. He wanted it to get working so the Enclave could establish leverage and a powerful foothold over the world. Thus, he is your average dickhole.

I love seeing how they set all the other games up. FO1 sets up NCR, BOS. FO2 brings in the Enclave and expands NCR. FO3 hits the climax between BOH and Enclave in DC and FONV seems to bring it all to an end rather nicely with either the impending destruction or expansion of the NCR.

Not really, you could also choose to talk the legate out of fighting and have them retreat, and then intimidate the general to retreat as well.

Which means neither the NCR or the Legion expanded or died off.

We have to wait until the next fallout in 2012-2013 to see what the canonic ending is.

@PanzerFury1 well With the BOS in FO3....It wasnt them at their peak...it was rogue Elder not carrying out the BOS mission, and decided to be a humanitarian and help the wasteland...which is why a huge chunk of them defected becoming "the Outcasts"(or The Real BOS) it was that event that happened which allowed the Wanderer to be successfull it his/her task...but as for the Enclave, yeah thats about right, FO3 wasnt a true sequel, should of been called "Fallout : D.C."

@likexaxbossx1 Frank Horrigan was the presidents personal body guard and when the Enclave went to investigate wherever it was the master was he got some FEV on him n he transformed into a supermutant but kept some of his intelligence (evident in the way he talks) and the enclave took him back and kept him heavily sedated whilst experimenting on him and they graphed his power armour to him to keep him alive. So in short he is a 12ft tall supermutant badass xD
