sounds like to tight of gear mesh between pinion and spur. Loosen the motor mount and slide the motor back and forth slightly while running on a stand. You should notice quieter operation as you pull the motor back slightly.

It's not the diffs because if I take the motor out, it is as smooth as silk. Definitely the motor causing the ruckus.
