I got this off the Clarksburg TV station Channel 12. I'm retired USAF and currenty a C-17 Crew and I'm from Terra Alta. This song is a real expression of true "MOUNTAINEERS". i  always keep up with our team no matter where I've been which has been all over the globe. I currently live in Oklahoma and folks ask me who my favorite team is and OF COURSE " THE MIGHTY MOUNTAINEERS" and my second favorite is who ever beats Oklahoma.

I loved this song. It was just as real and guileless as my native West Virginians.

I received my BS and MSW from WVU during the 70's. I had the best time of my life in dreary old Morgantown. There was nothing better than going to the games on Saturday. And I will fight anyone who says that the WVU professors and academic staff were anything but the best! WVU is one of the best schools that anyone could send their child. I only left my country roads and almost heaven because of the economy.
