Thanks a MILLION, Chris! I really practiced hard on 552 and 55550 with 4 and AS OF TODAY: I ran 5 clubs for 30-35 catches 4 times in a row!!! This is a monumental achievement for me, but only thanks to the guidance from this tutorial and garnav's tutorial!!!
Hey Chris, love your videos! About the pyramid method - Without really being aware of it, I've been using a pretty similar method for practicing guitar, and I agree.. it's a great way to practice. You have to challenge yourself a little to keep it interesting. I also notice that if I start getting frustrated with something, I'll take a break for about 30 - 60 minutes, and when I get back to it, all of a sudden it becomes easier. Have you ever noticed this with juggling?
Wow, a 10 month old comment. Hey, I'm on it! In fact, yes, specifically with juggling tricks, I have noticed that taking a break can make a nice difference. But usually I am so frustrated when I get on the cusp of nailing it that I do NOT take the break: I gut it out. Sometimes I get it; many times I don't. Sigh. Oddly, when I take, say, a three WEEK break, suddenly stuff that was hard before is "easy." No lie. Weird.
Another great tutorial. I'm glad to see you preaching the practice pyramid too. I really think its the best way to improve. I may be back in the 'noke in september! I'll get in touch with you if I am and we should juggle.
Good tutorial. What is ur 5 clubs record? That may help. How is 3 clubs snake? That could help with 5 clubs too. can you do 4 clubs siteswaps tutorial?
awesome vid, Chris! Your tutorials are NOT too long-winded. It can take years to learn 5clubs, so a 20min tutorial is not too long. You brought up some great points and things to practice! I know you've had lots of requests for this one too, thanks for making it!
I need better practice habits. I usually just try to run the pattern and I wear myself out. My best was 20 catches but on any day I'm lucky to get past 10 catches.
i have a bad habit of hitting the remove button when i mean to hit reply so this is a response to your comment on my WJF routine vid. thanks that means a lot to me and i think i will refilm it to get it within time.
Thank you so much for making this video. It really helped me out. You explain things very well. Please keep making tutorials, they are greatly appreciated. Five stars.
