When we got home we didn't relaize our parents were at the same concert in two rows behind us. We got grounded for 3 weeks but it was damn worth it.

I graduated from HS in 1984 (showing my age, I know!). I, like all of us here, can relate to the lyrics about which Eddie Money is singing. This song was released in late 1986, & it now relates to those of us who graduated in the 1980s. When this originally came out, Eddie Money was reminiscing about his HS days from the 1960s (he being born in 1949, making him 37 years of age in '86). He still looks terrific for someone 62 years of age! Keep on rockin', Eddie!

Record companies are into the one album flash-in-the-pan quick churn ENTERTAINERS (noticed I do not refer to them as ARTISTS). They no longer care to support and grow true artists with talent, just a marketing image. And the radio stations claim the labels give them nothing to promote. 50s-80's were hands down the best periods of music EVER!

that's a bit subjective to personal taste. I myself LOVE 50s-70s and 90s and consider the 80s very weak.
But every period has it's gold and it's turds. Not a fan of much arena rock, but hte late 70s still managed to church out some greats...and punk!
