This feature provides compelling evidence that Flt. 93 had been targeted for "engagement", that authority finally came from the Vice President and there is some new footage of the black smoke in the sky and a trail leading to the ground. They heros on board 93 are still heros despite being shot at and brought down. Wish govt. would admit it!!!

You know, I was 32 at the time of the attacks and my Dad was an ATC for the US Navy (NAS South Weymouth). I can hear the frustration of those controllers. To much red tape for them to do fuck all. This radio traffic during the 9-11 attacks, shows just how unprepared we were for such attacks on American soil. Knowing what you are hearing while these attacks were happening shows we were an innocent target, never believing that these horrific attacks on the mainland of the U. S. were possible. The U. S. Air Force now keeps their attack jets loaded with heat seaking missils to that we will nevfer have to see this again. RIP all innocent victims who died that fatefull day.

It's 2 hrs long But damn! This is the THIRD time I have heard this in the last 4 days. I'm not a pilot or ATC. I happened to be using really nice headphones and have also downloaded the PDF of the entire transcript. There are other remarks and comments that are not listed here. These are people talking in the background which adds a lot of suspense to the video. If you get a chance find a really quiet place. The extra comments are not relevant... they are scared reactions of others present.

In stead of waiting for his supervisor to ask FAA HQ to contact the military and scramble fighters, he gets on the horn himself, calls ID Tech and asks them to redirect the fighters already in the air.
