Benjy has his "mom", Ben should have gone to Maria told her he was going away for a few days with Meg and he would called each day to check on Benjy, It is no wonder why Meg wanted to move out, she no longer felt important to Ben when Maria and Benjy returned. Maria agreed to divorce Ben, and Ben and Meg got married on the last episode of the series, She and Benjy became good friends, and Maria adopted Benjy who turned out to be Derek and Tess's son not Ben and Maria's. With the support of Meg, Ben agreed to help Maria raise Benjy since he is his Uncle. They all lived happily ever after!
