I have a KP3; used it on my guitar and it doesn't sound good at all :( i guess it's just not made for it.

(I know that guy from Muse uses one but who knows how many buffers or other things he uses to compensate)

Oh man I love this song, but it sounded like it was clipping a lot and I couldn't hear the main melody as well over the beat. I think you should try to see if you could use some different mixing levels and see if it sounds any better. You could possibly add some equalization to give the mid frequency sounds more punch.
