Sweden is a country of socialism, and it is great. I never have to think twice about going to the hospital. I never have to choice my school based on what my parents makes per year. Your argument is based on Stalin being a socialist, re-read my reply: I very clearly state that Stalin was in fact a communist, I also encouraged you to study communism, which if you would have bothered to scan the manifesto you would see that communism holds itself as separate to socialism and in fact seeks to use socialists in the same the capitalists do. On more thing. I believe in democracy and freedom but what´s the point if you don´t have social benefits and security in your life especially as you get older or become sick. Yes!!!!! This can happen to anyone of us. And its not like the corporations are going to provide for us especially if it takes away from their profits. The days of job security, retirement benefits and the like which many of our forefathers had in the past are gone. Wake up... its a new world out there.

I think too many are confusing socialism with communism and fascism. If its the intention of the governemnt to provide eveyone with healthcare, jobs and a decent quality of life then I personally welcome socialism with open arms. It´s been working in Europe and it can work here too. Don´t let right wing hillbilly conservative politics fool you. This extreme right wing thinking is a true time bomb which in truth benefits the few on top. The people should come first.

A Marxist would tell you that all wealth is created by the workers but kept by a few (capitalists). They get more profits out of the workers by cutting their wages and health benefits, increasing their workloads, and laying off older workers.
Obama will never pass universal health care because HMOs gave him over $18 million in campaign contributions.
Because he threatens a very small amount of their profits, they'll say and do anything to protect their system of making money denying you care.
