one tip: try to leave your first page of your springboard empty or with very little apps, it really helps and speeds up alot! and shows your wallpaper if you have one. thumbs up so ppl can see! or you can make a video about that

I've done absolutely everything to speed up my 3g iphone and the only thing left to do now is buy a 4gs. I mean, seriously, this fuckin thing is so damn slow now. I wish they had a "3g" mode for the OS so it would be as fast as it WAS before the molasses rolled in.

Or better yet completely delete Spotlight search. I personally have never used it, and it was always getting in the way so I deleted it, and saw an even bigger improvement plus it doesn't get in the way anymore. Highly recomend doing so if you don't use it at all like me. Jailbreak required though obviously :P Search up "nospot" in Cydia.

@rsantacruz0142 man, i have the solution. Restore your iphone this is not just for you, is for all with the batteri issue, i had the problem too. Just restore your iphone, the ipad baseband will still be there, then u jailbreak with limera1n. Or like what else just not the redsnow. Then you go to cydia, manage, sources, repo666 the unlock program, install it, and WOW everyone who does this, will have a unlocked iphone with no batteri issue :) Have a nice day
