I was watching a another video on wiring and the guy said he doesn't use flux because it will corrode the track over time. Is there any truth to this? I have watched videos by several different people and none of them used flux when soldering wires to the track. I'm just curious as I want to do this the right way when I start my layout. I am new to model railroading but all my years of tinkering with things I know you should use flux, as was stated here, to remove impurities from the wire. Thnx

Thanks Cody, I'm a fan and subscriber. On an HO scale layout how many feet apart should feeder wires be dropped to ensure smooth conductivity?

@TheSrcitizen i thought every 3-5feet is enough, not sure though.
