What did Telemann look like? The couple of portraits that I have seen of him show that he wore a wig--like everybody else at the time--, and little else.

There is a portrait of Haydn that shows him without his wig. I had to laugh, because, without his famous wig, Franz Joseph was totally unrecognisable.

Telemann does have an obscure face to the rest and a relatively unknown one. The internet seems to only turn up 2 portraits

What I mean is that the portraits of him that I have seen are almost featureless; in fact, if their identification was changed and people were told that those portraits are of JS Bach, practically everybody would think that they are indeed images of Herr Bach.

Actually, the numbers should be 2. Vivace, and 3. Andante.

The first movement is 1. Largo, and the fourth is 4. Allegro.

Y G. F. Telemann es genial, maravilloso, conmovedor. No me canso de escuchar su música.

Lamentablemente durante mucho tiempo fue ingnorado, y me regocija saber que el interés por éste gram compositor esté reviviendo.

Mayer really is at the top of the heap. But royse 7564, he's playing on a modern conservatory-system oboe, nothing at all like a baroque oboe.
