@gorillacomando it will definitely take away the concern that the rest of the suspension will fail, however, to eliminate the squeaking you will probably have to replace those ball joints and any other rubber parts under there that may be deteriorating.
So we can send a man to the moon but WE CAN'T DESIGN AN AIR SUPENSION SUSTEM THAT WILL LAST ?!!!!! What kind of nonsense is this? GET RID OF FAILING ENGINEERS and SHODY MANAGEMENT.
I'll stick with Lexus, air suspension and reliability all in one. Go figure.
@TruAgape123 not real sure what sending a man to the moon has to do with the fact that rubber dry rots and cracks over time.. Stick with the air suspension and you let the dealer stick it to you. This solution is for people who can't afford to spend $3000 on a $5000 vehicle (if that)
@beaddles So ur the problem we can put a virtual face to! CLEAN OUT UR DESK and sell ur worless excuses to GM and MB. I will stick with brands that hire engineers that actually SOLVE problems instead of give a million and one reasons why it wont work. Its a shame that manufactures think they can get away with selling unreliability. Its even worse when idiot mindsets like the comment u barfed prove them right. Ponder that while the "poor" mans Lexus is on the road not in the shop.
There is no snow, salt, ice, or air to cause corrosion on the moon. the humidity there (moon) is a little better than here in Florida for things like...oh...say....METAL!

I worked on a Lincoln continental once, the air ride blew out and Ford told the customer the only way that happens is if it's raised with the suspension still on. wanna guess what I think of the Ford Motor Company?
I switched my 1986 Lincoln Mark VII to these springs and I did not notice any difference in the ride.
I should have done it many years before, since I was already on my 2nd set of bags. I have 234k miles with the 5.0 engine and it will last another 100k, so I was not ready to dump my car.
I'm in the SF Bay area, so winters were not the cause of the bags dryrot.
By the way, the shop only charged me $75/wheel labor to make the switch since it was so simple.
@Dustin01987 Thanks for letting me know that it works so well. This time I got lucky! The switch had been turned off and the system still works!!!!! So ... 17.5 years and it is still working, but now I've done my homework and I know what I'll do when it finally goes. Good luck with the other one.
My '93 Lincoln just had its first problem with the air suspension. If the first set lasted 17 years, I'm not sure what I want to do. Have any of you gone with the non-air springs? Is the ride decent? It is about $100 cheaper than buying an air kit online and you never have to replace it, but I seriously doubt I'll be driving the car 17 years from now.
@AspergerDad i did i couldn't tell a difference it still rode good and i have another one im gonna put a non air spring under great deal for the ride you get..
id almost consider buying an air suspension now that this kit is available if it were not for the fact that pretty much every car with air suspension is a total lemon otherwise ... i think they do it to detract attention from the fact that the cars a heap...seriously are people surprised when they buy a 1994 lincoln with 39,000 miles for 200 dollars that its junk and needs to be melted down and turned into something useful...no surprise to me that ford killed lincoln
I don't get it? You're selling folks air bags cause they are better than springs, and springs to folks who have air premium suspension? I have seen several of these videos here, replacing air with springs The Problem With Air Suspension, etc...
So air ride is NOT an upgrade, and will soon carp out necessitating expensive and constant repairs???
I don't know about you, but if I had a 3 - 4 year old LINCOLN with a single failed air bag that was so expensive to repair that I would consider replacing all four of them with obsolete technology......I would be really pissed! Or have I been spoiled by my rice-mobiles which go 10 years with little to no repairs?
It is only a matter of time before the air suspension system on a vehicle fails. A good high quality conversion kit is a great replacement and will do the trick.
I put 18 inch wheels on my 03 Dodge Durango and it rides like crap....How can I improve my suspension ?

my Lincoln squeaks when we get out of the car will also i have been having problems with the suspension ball joint, nuts become loos, etc
i think its the shock absorbers messing everything up
if it is will the 2000-2006 Lincoln LS 4-Wheel Air Suspension Conversion Kit be good to fix and prevent future suspension problems

It seems inconceivable that with all the ballistic fabric materials and composite impeller materials, that the air ride suspension should wear out.
Why would Lincoln use substandard parts, disregarding production anarchy?
Will helicopters revert to steel gas tanks next?
Air suspensions have been on big rigs for years.
How do these systems fare in comparison to small vehicle air systems?
Air suspension is cool,
