Wow, assuming the audio is from 2009, his voice got a lot better than I expected! Was it around late 2008 that his voice was a bit messed up from the operation?
David's voice sounds kinda odd because he had an operation to fix a deviated septum which was making breathing difficult and affecting his vocal abilities on stage.
I am not the biggest fan of this particular song, but I am thinking this version may even be better then the album version, despite the way live recordings fail to capture David's amazing voice as well as being there in person.
@MrSethGod I think due to how loud the concerts are the audio quality suffers alot of the time. It seems to make David's voice sound strange and people who haven't been there in person don't know that being there is a world of difference.
DISTURBED - THE ONE AND ONLY BAND FOR EVER. THE TOP OF THE EPICNESS. IM GONNA RIP OFF THE HEAD OF THOSE WHO VOTE WITH THUMB DOWN.

Davids vocal recording is not the problem. It's Dan's Guitar tone. He needs a better speaker or sound system. His tone is so damn compressed live.

@MrSethGod Agreed. I've been wondering what happened to David's voice. He sounds too nasally.
