yes, but I don't know why anyone would do it. you can lower the pitch of every string by a whole step and tune normally. This puts you in D as opposed to E. Again, I don't know why anyone would want to do this as it makes the song a whole lot more difficult to play since you'd have to use two fingers for the power chords as opposed to just one to bar.

sounds like you got all the notes but please learn to palm mute...or do the finger lift thing idk what that's called but I think you should be able to figure it out lol. other than the single notes it sounds pretty good....good job

finger lift thing?? And there is palm muting throughout the entire song during the verse's. It was recorded on a digital camera and not a vid camera.... possibly why it doesn't sound accurate.

idk the term for the finger lift thing but like after lead notes you lift your finger for a split second to muffle the extra ring of the string and most of the song sounded good it was mainly just the intro lead that sounded like the notes were ringing too long the camera could be the issue but my guess is that when you play lead your palm doesn't make as much contact as you think

of course there is distortion. I use an effects processor, but you can achieve the same thing with just an amp by turning the gain up. And it's still drop D tuning.
