I have to say I like the Ghostbusters 1 and 2 scores but I like Ghostbusters 2 score music a little better because it sounds more heroic as someone else mentioned. I wish they would use these GB score themes in the new Ghostbusters 3 movie.

GB2 score is just more "Heroic-sounding" than Elmer's GB score. Lots of crescendos. It just sounds bigger.

@Superstarseven You should take a look at the score for the movie Feds, a small film from 88, the year before this one came out. They had the same composer and a lot of the themes/sound is carried over across the two films.

Going from the ghostbuster 1 score to gb2 is like going from batman returns to batman forever...it's not nearly as good.

i likeem both but for different reasons. berstians is more quirky, while GB 2 is more heroic but also kinda generic. but totally agree about batman returns and forever....you cannot top elfmans batman scores.but i mjust admit i liked the forever "superheroic" score too.
