This is a very good band, my son, Steve Torrence was part of it! They worked very hard to get that great sound & it was a tight group. All their solo's were very good and most of these musicians went on and did great things with their music ability.

Dicks' a great drummer no doubt. Thing is it's always about Dick not always about the music. Truly great musicians make great MUSIC. Just my opinion.

A big band has to have a leader and this band has always been about the music. The soloists and ensemble work are documented on numerous other YouTube posts (usually ballads that no one is interested in) 41 total. The bottom line is audience reaction and they were always emotional.
