watch the replay see the liverpool player try put his hand on the ball / scrape the ball. If the final player gets a whole foot on that its a direct own goal, with Rheiner going the wrong way.
Everton had 2 or 3 good sweet moves in this game that resulted in near goals. They did deserve this and they 'won' this 3 match suite of recent derbies as they had depleted squad and very transparent plan which pool knew about but could not do anything about. Pool are top but they have had some bad draws
Jim Beglin once again shows what an utter bell-end he is in that commentary, he doesn't even mention Gosling's name in his summery, it's all about how Liverpool made mistakes and Everton being lucky! A truly dreadful summariser of football matches (why do we need them anyway?).
I couldn't agree more. I still find it amazing that no-one ever mentions how good Dan's take-down was. Have YOU ever tried to trap a crossed ball like that , control it instantly while surrounded by defenders then steer it toward goal?
That was amazing skill and he's still only a teenager. If Beckham had done that, the press would be drooling over it for months.
Hey, Downsie, I'm a Scouse chick here in New York living on a U.S. army base and also have a two-year-old little man. Don't get any chance to watch "soccer" (don't you just hate that word) these days so thanks soooo much for the video!
I'am a Chelsea fan.But it was great to see them win the game and what a goal too.I put $10 down on the to win this game and won about $42 back, thanks Everton.
I reckon they were asking the ref to get the Everton players back into the game instead of having a party. Time was running out. Either that or they wanted their money back. hahahaha
van der mayde did something to piss them all off, i saw reina run after VDM for something. Too busy jumping up and down like a fucking tit to notice. or care
Thanks Downsie...like Studley, I am a Toffee relocated to the States...so being able to see this made my night complete!!! COYB!!!! Bring on the Villa :)
