  • I love this stuff! I'm so glad I can get it locally.

  • we have that here on GUAM IT OISHII!

  • Oh my god Inarizushi! Oishii!

  • I HEAR PONYO!!

  • Ponyo Ponyo Ponyo sakana no ko!!!!!

  • Combination of Udon and Inarizushi is very good!!

  • Inari always seems a bit too sweet to me

  • Its: ee-NAHD-dee-zew-SHI

  • I wish my marching band could play Ponyo, and Totoro~ :3

  • my goals in life right now : live in japan or stay there , and live in an apartment with wooden floors and a big ol 50" or 60" hdtv !

  • can i haz a weekly japanese eats : ?

  • loving the mini series: Japanese eats!

  • I love how you make short videos, on others they talk like forever (not even about the food)!!

  • just to add, sushi is about the rice not about the fish

    but still nice vid :)

  • you must be pretty rich to tour around japan like this

  • Omg I love inarizushi I always get it when I'm at cafe zaiya!!

  • I've heard Kobe's famous for it's beef. It's probably extremely expensive, but what's a food show in Kobe that doesn't feature that?

  • cooking with dog

  • I had inarizushi for the first time last year... No one warned me how sweet it was, and it physically made me sick =p...Just before taking the JLPT...Me and sweet foods don't get along.

  • My Japanese teacher made us a bento box that had inarizushi in it when we were studying the food chapter, and it is SO good ;) yum

  • When I first tried Inarizushi I was surprised that it has a slight sweetness to it. :P

  • i like your Imovie intro. lol. but really, great vids. always enjoy them.

  • I miss inarizushi. When I was studying abroad in Shiga, I ate inarizushi like 3 times a week for lunch. So delicious.

  • PONYO! That's amazing :')

  • inari! i love em to

  • Damn, I haven't had breakfast yet!

  • Could of used some kind of sauce.

  • I had these before when I got a mixed platter from a Japanese resturant when I was living on the west coast. I wasn't a big fan of the sweetness to it but I still liked it all the same. Probably doesn't even compare to ones made in Japan.

  • This stuff looks pretty good.

  • @EvannRachel defintiely tasty!

  • @Hikaru15323 really? I can understand why :) It is great!

  • Ohh they look awesome!

  • @Beckophilia It was! :)

  • Looks delicious! I'm salivating, unlike the burger video the other day!!

  • @MParquee I understand....the burger un the last video was putrid!

  • Can get these at the Safeway grocery store every once in a while here in Arizona, USA, but they are much more expensive for some reason.

  • I am a HUGE japan fan(that rhymed!hehe) and I went to little tokyo in LA today for my first time. I ate some REAL ramen, ate some Inarizushi (loved it!) and what woke me and my friends up today was the LA marathon outside our hotel window! Im gonna put up the video some time, im to lazy haha. I made my friends try the Inarizushi , they got disturbed that it squirted in their mouths.oh well! there was more 4 me! :D

  • I'm impressed w/ your chopstick skills.

  • @phampants I have been living in Asia for 8 years now! hehe Korean ones are the challenge...they're thin metal chopsticks. Once you can use those, you can use anything!

  • Wow looks good!

  • @jiffmartin It is indeed delicious!

  • it looks REALLY greasy, It's so SHINY! it looks weird... But I'd still try it because I eat just about anything... or atleast try it once..

  • @StarAWings Haha, it looks "greasy" but it's not XD I can't explain it, but it's basically the flavouring/marinade(?) the tofu has absorbed =3

  • Good choice.

    Nobody picks up Inarizushi.

Some people boil fried tofu just little bit before making inarizushi to make it less greasy.

  • i tried this once ^_^ it was called "inari sushi" though, so i was surprised that it wasnt fish at all :O

  • I love inarizushi too, though I still dip it in soy sauce and wasabi like regular sushi. You might need a third channel for your food videos. Kobe Kevin's Japanese Eats? Japanese Foods?

  • That looks so good!

  • This mini series is awesome

  • @Smurfed more to come! I have 3 more episodes shot :)

  • oh, ponya... it never gets old hahah

  • Your life is great!

  • pause at 0:51 there's a heart under his nose :D

  • I'd like to try!!!

  • Inarizushi & Hot green tea.

    It's BEST!!

  • Love it. Don't forget to bring napkins for after your eating segments. lol.

  • i love these japanese food videos, make more!!!

  • @jimsnoskate12 many more to come!

  • Digging the intro!

  • @Mahortz cool! Every Japanese eats video will have a different one :)

  • oishii so

  • Glad you found something better than the last terrible snack you tried! :-)

  • I love this! :D I didn't know the Japanese name for this before, so thanks!!! :D

  • that did indeed look tasty, but, im wondering, since the tofu is deep fried, i'm assuming its not the healthiest of foods for you?

  • 僕は、おいなりさんが大好きだぞ

  • @BusanKevin Inarizushi is better with a little bit of lemon zest. =)

  • In Sweden that box of Inarizushi would cost about 500¥ and it would have been less fresh.

That eating/drinking and then toss a big thumb up is so Mick from MicknFumi, he always does that ha ha

  • You can't go wrong with food videos!

  • @BusanKevin I made some of that for a culture festival with a friend my Freshman year. It was really good stuff! このSeriesはかっこいいの。:3

  • Inarizushi is my favorite! Oishiii

  • That looked good. I want some.

  • that looks alot better then the teriyaki sandwitch.

  • Oh wow, I love inari! So good ^_^

  • I always have a bit of a chuckle when ever I hear 'inari'. It is also a slang word for a unit of embarressment in Kansai area. 1 inari is the embarressment level felt when one accidently exposes a testicle while wearing shorts !! :-)

  • I Love Inarizushi, too! It is so good and Vegan! I just do not enjoy Pickled Plums in my rice balls. A long time ago I had one with a dried fish in a souce, OMG was that good. I have almost never run into that since. I cannot wait to get to Japan. I do understand the difficulty of eating Vegan there, as even things that are 'vege' have bonito broth ect. in them. But that is a healthy lunch and cheep!

  • That looked better than the Teriyaki burger. Thank you for the video.

  • mmmm, looks amazing! :)

  • Looks yummy!!!...that golden beer in your new intro's a bit over priced. Its usually about 40 yen cheaper than Kirin Lager, I can't stand it....cool intro though mate : )

  • Yoo Boo Cho Bap

  • japanese food looks kinda unhealthy. How do they stay so thin? I eat mostly vegetables and I'd probably be considered overweight compared to people there lol.

  • @anticliche321 Lots of exercise. They usually walk everywhere instead of driving.

  • I heard that the recent Christchurch quake is ruining their economy due to poor tourism in New Zealand. Is it the same case in Japan? Would it be beneficial to funding relief efforts (as well as more fun, obviously) to plan a trip to Japan rather than donating?

  • Inari is my favorite sushi. I'm a vegetarian, though, so it makes sense I suppose. It's fun to make at home too.

  • YUMMMM i will try this when i come to japan this summer with my husband! :D thanks for sharing!!! :D

  • OMFG I LOVE THOSE RICE THINGS. I only get them once a year on Canada Day unfortunately

  • Love the music. Reminds me of some of your older videos.

  • I've had that! It's very delicious!

  • Those are so expensive here in Ontario!

  • Ponyo! :3

  • Yes please do more food videos Kevin (:

  • I don't know why it is so entertaining to watch you eat, it just is! I hope to keep seeing these vids :D

  • Fox Sushi. Interesting.

  • You forgot to tell them that they have a sweet taste to them.

  • @kantishna39: I'm pretty sure I heard him say that they had a sweet taste to them...

  • @StarDr0ps You're probably right. I guess my elementary teachers were right when they used to tell me to pay attention more.

  • japanese makes the best food ever!

  • random question : what did you get your master degree in ? im considering Negotiation, Conflict Resolution & Peacebuilding

(online) while teaching for 2 years in korea

  • kevin you should show us some good places for kobe beef

  • omfg I love eating those so much @w@

My mom used to make it for me to eat...

  • @iTzNoko i should learn how to make it!

  • I eat Inarizushi all the time, it's sooo good! :D

  • @OizumiRoi I agree :)

  • I love inarizushi too! Mmmmmmmm. Thanks!

  • awww i want some. :(

  • do a video on the marching bands!

    i heard they're amazing

  • There is an Asian supermarket that I go to, they sell those fried bean curds that you use to make those, Those things are delicious!!! I love making sushi at home <3 Thanks for the video kevin! Awesome stuff!

  • now im hungry and want inarizushi :'( i know none of the japanese restaurants around me have it :(

  • which way do they use for spelling "chopsticks"? in japanese i mean?

  • at the beginning it sorta looked like some fried chicken or so, until you said what it really was

  • Om nom nom ^-^

How is your Japanese going?Just out of curiosity (*^。^*)

  • Looks yummy!

  • @saoirse4280 it was awesome!

  • im hungry now bro!

  • @worldtravel101 sorry about that!

  • Is the Ponyo theme the new national anthem of Japan?lol. Seriously Ive seen many vids by other J-Vloggers and there are instances where you could here it in the background.

  • @tokyokurisu I hope not! There was a band in another part of the park practicing it though!

  • kevin it never fails you upload a video of food when i frekin starving i just got off work and have no desire to cook and saw this, god i wish i was in japan i miss freshness burger
