The Fur companies in the middle of the twentieth century did that task for us by breeding several generations in captivity for us so we could stay warm and look cool at the same time. These so called vicious wolves are simply dogs at this point and need to be treated as such.

Jed is so very awesome, he looked like my dog...It'a crossbreed Saarloos wolfdog/husky. The guy with the whip at about 1:05 was actually Jed's trainer/owner. Damn would I like to get my hands on a dog like Jed, R.I.P. buddy...
I just remembered that Jed was famous for a number of roles in various films. Some people may remember him as the stray dog from John Carpenter's the Thing. But most people remember Jed as White Fang from the 1991 movie of the same name and the sequel. White Fang II: Myth of the White Wolf.
I love this canine actor so much I was inspired to get my own wolf hybrid a few years ago and we named him maximus and its uncanny how much he looks like jed on a side note he's the biggest couch potato you'll ever see and he's three years old.
@wioholic i have to hrbrids and they have some wolf fetures,butthere not all wolf.their father was a huskie and the mother was a wolf.its the way they act skidish around people and okay around dogs,but mine can't bark and their not really big ther 26 inchs at the shoulder.

@Anime210Freak That's a good question. They do the same thing to me. This song has been disabled on this vid 3 times. Then they turn it back on. No idea why. I try to put up many songs now that YT will not allow. But these very old ones stay on. And I see other people who have videos up with songs I want to use, but I can't upload them.
It's something to do with the monitoring robots on YT, but I don't know how it all works. Very frustrating though. Sorry you can't get yours on. :(
@Anime210Freak it might also be the anime itself. Some animes have been "banned" and if reported by someone youtube will shut them down thanks to the anime comps... I had one of my accounts closed because of my rayearth music video

@iluvzanimals7 Okay no dog can take out a bear by itself! Maybe a young black bear! I've seen mounts of a Bear and all the bear would need to do is swing its use paw and it'd instantely kill a dog or injure it to the point the dog wanted nothing to do with the bear. Dogs used to hunt bear wore the bear out they didnt kill the bear the hunters did.

And I want to own a wolf hybrid, as i train dogs and owning a wolf hybrid would give in depth look at what makes a dog tick! I've read a book about a girl owning a raising a coyote tho, which was very insightful of how important it truly is to be the pack leader, and to be a strong one!
@iluvzanimals7 Dogs are a lot like wolves but they learn differently. A wolf can watch and learn, that's y their such good escape artist. Where a dog learns through associatition. And wolves arents as easily intimidated by other animals inless its a human. I want to raise a hybrid but I wouldn't recommend a hybrid any old joe of the street because raised wrong a hybrid could be very deadly, even towards the owners, and the owner's family.

@iluvzanimals7 Pitbulls are bred down from mastiff and mixed with Terrier so they'll be have loads of energy! I mean two pitbull on each other is a match, because their built the same. But you get a bigger dog and it jus uses its legs to push it outta the way. Imagine a midget on steroids, he maybe built but you'll have more leverage on him! Which case sucks for the midget. I'm jus sayin pitbulls are far from being the badest dog on 4 legs.

This Music Video was done really well. Ever sinse I first saw this movie I wondered what "The Journey of Natty Gann" was. This is most likely my favorite Music Video. The dog that plays Jed in this movie, does he really plat White Fang in "White Fang"? @daveescape01 I don't find it hard to believe at all that a Wolfdog could kill a pitbull. Wolfdogs weigh much more than a pitbull. Plus the size of their teeth!! I've seen mounds of wolve's and their teeth are huge!! a pitbull's teeth would look puny againt's a wolfdog's set of jaws. Plus pitbulls are overrated, their a medium sized terrier. Sure their tough for their size, but a bigger bully dog could easily overtake a pitbull.
Yep; But dog-fights are bad, mmm-k? Pitbulls aren't too over-rated, tho. One of my cousin's neighbors has one, and I honestly think they gave that dog steroids or something because the muscle size and tone is abnormal. So, I think the pitbull is a serious dog not because of the dog itself, but because of the owner.
@daveescape01 I'm not down w dog fights. But I get sick of seeing Pitbulls as oh there the badest dog on 4 legs. There not a huge dog yea they may have big muscles for their "Size" but that does not make them a tough dog. Pitbulls aren't swifts they use their mouths mostly. YOU get get a shepherd tho or a doberman and they use their legs and knock things over exposing their vitals and making them easy targets. And if you think pitbull are tough check out what they were bred down from Mastiffs!

These dogs all have very different personalities, and that comes from the breeding. Some of them are real lazy and it would be hard to believe that they are hybrids. I would recommend finding out what percent of wolf bloodline is in it. If it's first generation, you'll have some trouble on your hands, but 4th, 3rd, sometimes even 2nd gen you should have nothing to worry about.
However, you need to be with your dog a substantial amount of time EVERY DAY, I cannot stress it enough.
@daveescape01 Yeah,my uncle told me if its 50% or under thats fine. but idk if thats true.and thanks for telling me about the generation thing,I didnt know that :) I might not have a prob with being with it all of the time :) (besides when I sleep,go places,ect.) cuz when an animals around,I alway pay attention to them,play with them,watch tv with them,lay down with'em,ect. but I always seem to love them to much,like if its a cat or normal dog ect. is there a prob with loving a wolf dog to much?
Well, if your dog is wearing a cap, shirt, and shoes than yeah, Thats a little too much care, haha. But, you just have to remember that the dog sees you as the leader. With normal dogs this isnt a problem, but with these hybrids some of them may have the "alpha" gene in 'em, meaning that they will try to challenge you as top dog. It is natural.
All you got to do (If your hybrid happens to be an alpha agressor) is remind him/her whos boss.

You shouldnt worry about it. Since your not getting a first gen dog, the behavior should be wolf-like, but you should have no problems not encountered in a normal dog.

Jed is probably the RICHEST dog on earth! he was seen on several wolf-dog movies like The Journey of Natty Gann, White Fangm and many more. oh now im a super fan of JED!! hahaha

ya did you guys know a german shepherd is half wolf so a gsd can take down a pitbull or a bear its happened before that a gsd protected his owner from a bear

@iluvzanimals7 Okay no dog can take out a bear by itself! Maybe a young black bear! I've seen mounts of a Bear and all the bear would need to do is swing its use paw and it'd instantely kill a dog or injure it to the point the dog wanted nothing to do with the bear. Dogs used to hunt bear wore the bear out they didnt kill the bear the hunters did.

@iluvzanimals7 No I haven't But I've heard it has to do a lot with selective breeding. And I want to own a wolf hybrid, as i train dogs and owning a wolf hybrid would give in depth look at what makes a dog tick! I've read a book about a girl owning a raising a coyote tho, which was very insightful of how important it truly is to be the pack leader, and to be a strong one!

@iluvzanimals7 Dogs are a lot like wolves but they learn differently. A wolf can watch and learn, that's y their such good escape artist. Where a dog learns through associatition. And wolves arents as easily intimidated by other animals inless its a human. I want to raise a hybrid but I wouldn't recommend a hybrid any old joe of the street because raised wrong a hybrid could be very deadly, even towards the owners, and the owner's family.

@nikigurl08 Ya but i do agree about that the pitbull wouldnt stand a chance probrably not even to a german shepherd cause they are related to wolves. I have a bloodhound and he can even take down a pitbull because he protected me from one before all he did was howl and it like ran off because it was running up to us i was really scared but nothing happened because of my dog harley

@iluvzanimals7 Pitbulls are bred down from mastiff and mixed with Terrier so they'll be have loads of energy! I mean two pitbull on each other is a match, because their built the same. But you get a bigger dog and it jus uses its legs to push it outta the way. Imagine a midget on steroids, he maybe built but you'll have more leverage on him! Which case sucks for the midget. I'm jus sayin pitbulls are far from being the badest dog on 4 legs.

This Music Video was done really well. Ever sinse I first saw this movie I wondered what "The Journey of Natty Gann" was. This is most likely my favorite Music Video. The dog that plays Jed in this movie, does he really plat White Fang in "White Fang"? I have read "White fang" two times and I have been tentative about watching a movie of it because in school we had to read "Call of the Wild" and then watch the movie. The movie was just to badly done to discribe.

I know a guy whose Wolfdog killed a pitbull. Tore it to pieces. These dogs are handsome and very attractive, but are very hard to manage and if neglected can become very destructive. The WD's head is massive; the maw can easily encompass a grown man's face. Scary thought! Thankfully, with care and nurturing they can be as loyal, submissive, and easy-going as a normal dog.

@daveescape01 I don't find it hard to believe at all that a Wolfdog could kill a pitbull. Wolfdogs weigh much more than a pitbull. Plus the size of their teeth!! I've seen mounds of wolve's and their teeth are huge!! a pitbull's teeth would look puny againt's a wolfdog's set of jaws. Plus pitbulls are overrated, their a medium sized terrier. Sure their tough for their size, but a bigger bully dog could easily overtake a pitbull.

Yep; But dog-fights are bad, mmm-k? Pitbulls aren't too over-rated, tho. One of my cousin's neighbors has one, and I honestly think they gave that dog steroids or something because the muscle size and tone is abnormal. So, I think the pitbull is a serious dog not because of the dog itself, but because of the owner.

@daveescape01 I'm not down w dog fights. But I get sick of seeing Pitbulls as oh there the badest dog on 4 legs. There not a huge dog yea they may have big muscles for their "Size" but that does not make them a tough dog. Pitbulls aren't swifts they use their mouths mostly. YOU get get a shepherd tho or a doberman and they use their legs and knock things over exposing their vitals and making them easy targets. And if you think pitbull are tough check out what they were bred down from Mastiffs!

If I were to get a wolf dog,and I loved it and payed attention to it almost contantly,but can be lazy with care sometimes,will it hate me?? just need to get this off my chest. because i have no clue if Im the type of person who creates angry disloyal wolf dogs,or if im good with'em. because i want one bad,but i hear multiple bad thingso them,and multiple good things about thiem,i have no clue what to believe :( thank u

These dogs all have very different personalities, and that comes from the breeding. Some of them are real lazy and it would be hard to believe that they are hybrids. I would recommend finding out what percent of wolf bloodline is in it. If it's first generation, you'll have some trouble on your hands, but 4th, 3rd, sometimes even 2nd gen you should have nothing to worry about.
However, you need to be with your dog a substantial amount of time EVERY DAY, I cannot stress it enough.

@daveescape01 Yeah,my uncle told me if its 50% or under thats fine. but idk if thats true.and thanks for telling me about the generation thing,I didnt know that :) I might not have a prob with being with it all of the time :) (besides when I sleep,go places,ect.) cuz when an animals around,I alway pay attention to them,play with them,watch tv with them,lay down with'em,ect. but I always seem to love them to much,like if its a cat or normal dog ect. is there a prob with loving a wolf dog to much?

Well, if your dog is wearing a cap, shirt, and shoes than yeah, Thats a little too much care, haha. But, you just have to remember that the dog sees you as the leader. With normal dogs this isnt a problem, but with these hybrids some of them may have the "alpha" gene in 'em, meaning that they will try to challenge you as top dog. It is natural.
All you got to do (If your hybrid happens to be an alpha agressor) is remind him/her whos boss.

I also heard females have less aggression and alpha gene in them than males. ppl say you die when they do this,which worrys me if its true. is the alpha gene common? and how do I show it im top dog around the house? act like they do when in a dominance fight,or just act like a person showing them whos boss? lol srry for the weird ?'s

You shouldnt worry about it. Since your not getting a first gen dog, the behavior should be wolf-like, but you should have no problems not encountered in a normal dog.

And its usually females who lead packs. Alpha's have nothing to do with gender.
