higurashi is my favorite anime, i mean, i'm totally in love with it xD(watched it four times) .. i've never tried the games though, but im sure i'll love them too (even though they seem very different from the anime)

You follow the story and there are critical moments in the game where you have to interact to get certain endings and story paths, in other words, it all depends on you if Hinamizawa survives...
