  • FIFA 2004, lol... Now I'm wishing be young again :(

  • Billy Elliot brought me here :D

  • I've vowed to become a Mod Rocker. Man...14 year old girl Mod?? Would it work??

  • lyrics that never lose their meaning. now i'm off to That's Entertainment

  • thats obama on keys- always knew the man was a mod!!!!

  • more infectious than aids, tb and the black plague, combined.

  • One of my favourite songs. How can your foot not tap to this?

  • Mods will never die

  • dig that classic Cockney accent on Paul Weller. you can drop bombs on him all day and half the night and he won't break.

  • Forever f****ng mods!!!

  • Not big fan of The Jam, But a Great Tune irregardless!

  • If you weren't born at the right time and place, then you'll never know how incredible the Jam were.

  • @mycal64 dude im like 16 and apreciate in full the talent and this music. not everyone is ignorant these days:)

  • This is a good song....was #1 in the UK but failed to crack the top 40 here in the US.

  • @doozydoozy didnt even chart here in the states! i mean wtf man?!?

  • how could dislike?

  • So this is where Venture Bros got the name of the Super-Villain town from...

  • "Russ, why do you want to look like a rooster?"

  • Not only my fave Jam tune but the best of all the Motown-based tunes from the UK in the early 80s. WELLER'S THE MAN!! =]

(and the songs from '82 not '84)

  • Not only my fave Jam tune but the best of all the Motown-based tunes from the UK in the early 80s. WELLER'S THE MAN!! =]

  • really..I concur..AnnieandTash...Paul Is an Ikon to songwritters in the UK

  • really..I concur..AnnieandTash

  • How could any moron hit the dislike button? really.

  • and i couldn't agree more that this is an historic video. just so good to see it again.

  • Now wasn't Paul Weller the epitome of cool in the early 80s? this group never became famous in the U.S. but they did use to show this video on MTV in those days. great memory.

  • @jasonwheel but then came morrissey and he defined cool, for fucking ever :)

  • @alexanduhDanziggg no way Weller is a god- morrisseys just a prophet- Paul weller still hits number 1 on the uk album charts- Morrrissey is lucky to break the top 20- i like the smiths but the jam are legends

  • @salvadory

I completely agree. Weller has had a much more brilliant and consistent career than Morrissey. The only British artist of the last 35 years I would even think of placing about Weller is Elvis Costello and that's a very close race. I'm an American and can happily admit that The Jam put all the American bands from that time period to shame.

  • i am 14 and all i listen to is the jam stone roses and all them kinds of things! i love fila, sergio and ellesse! i say bring back the 80's!

  • love this oldie! and the keyboard guy! ;)

  • Where is this....? LOL 10/10*****

  • Does this make anyone else want to get up and dance? ;)

  • @JennyLeik YUP! XD

  • I forgot this song until I hear her in the tv show How not to live your life !

  • too bad i cannot understand a word of british singers

  • @TheLittlestEmu me too dude.

  • Oh yes, The Jelly, as we call them here in the states. Gee, if only those guys had come over here and made the effort to tour the bars and shopping malls like all the great Brit bands did. Hell they coulda been as big as XTC or 10CC.

  • honor to whom honor is due

    honor al que honor merece

  • Love this song. There really was something to sing about in the 80's. I miss that.

  • @capebee There wasn't anything good to sing about in the 80s, 'cos it was the most ridiculous decade for clothes, music and politics.

We had Maggie Thatcher and Duran Duran for christsakes - How can that be good?

  • @FionaGM Didn't care about Maggie Thatcher back then , but listening to Duran Duran always makes me feel like it's 1982 again. And that ain't such a bad thing in my humble opinion. Cheers .

  • I love the theme they did on mock the week

  • The ModFather

  • guitaring in this is brilliant!!

  • there are no words to describe the awesomeness of this song. What era are these guys from?

  • i was and stay a real rockabilly fan. But i've seen jam on stage three time in the earlies seventies and that was a fantastic band on stage and also on record. My favourite UK band with the Inmates and Doctor Feelgood.

  • Mint song listened to the a million times, still amazin

  • Putain qu'est ce que j'ai pu taper le plafond fond (bas) du Roxy Music à Toulouse sur ce Morceau des jam, n'est ce pas Jeff (à la cabine)?

  • new age mods

  • To either cut down on beer or the kids new gear its a big decision in a town called malice,

  • all the jams songs are great but i like this and down in the tube station at midnight

  • Polydor legacy, my black ass.

  • Have loved The Jam for more years than I care to remember. Great to see the lads back on tour as From The Jam. Rick Bruce Dave and Russ are doing an excelent job, keep it up lads.

  • This band were the back drop to my late teenage years and early twenties. The Jam not only shaped a generation with their music, but also with views, attitude and mod way of life.

But they are not dead, they have risen in the guise of "From the Jam", Foxton, Buckler, Hastings and Moore. Recreation along with direction and creation of what was that classic sound and energy.

If you don't believe catch "From The Jam" on their December 2008 UK Tour.

    I will...

  • Brilliant! Best band ever and fantastic to see that Rick and Bruce are back with From The Jam! Anyone seen them yet?
