Stayed on the 8th floor (ocean front room ) from June 6th-Jul4th, 2008. Excellent view. I saw 2 sea turtles from the Lanai. Excellent location. Only negative was, saw some small bugs in the bathroom. But the view and location more than made up for it. Bought a swimming goggles from their beach location, $5 cheaper than in Sports Authority in Austin!
Great hotel. My wife and I are staying there our next visit to O'ahu.
