According to the wikipedia of the disappearance of Madeleine, this man fitted the description of a suspect being hunted by Spanish police for the kidnappings of Sara Morales,14, and 7-year-old Yeremi Vargas, in the Canary Islands.

I have been following this case with intense curiosity,and with a heart of a caring father. So far as I know, the Spanish police messed up the whole investigation, whu hasn't the British police were not called at once? WQhy so many other questions which leaves a question mark hanging over my head. I have the greatest respect for our police, but the Spanish one did not play the game.

No & they never will unless this kind of pressure is upheld.

The British police have offered their assistance more than once in the past three years ..

Irrevelant? what a load of nonsence. A child is missing, A human being disappeared from the surface of the earth. We should, if we had guts, place Spain on the back list and stop visitin, the government should make it an out of reach Island until they start caring for the visitors.

I have been there myself and the locals are lovely ..

but I agree - I would NEVER take my children.
