  • Thanks...so many shot videos to edit, so little time...

Cymbal sizes are all around comment number 2.

  • Seems like if it is not one person's style then they are an expert and need to tell you how to do things better.

Not here man you rock and I like your style.. I would like to see more..

    Thanks!!

  • Thanks D&C!! Hope to cut sum more vids asap...

  • Thanks Again..

  • may seem like a stupid question but how do you get the sound to record to the camera instead of the camrera mic. if ha a alesis imultimix 8 usb if it matters

  • What kind of camera do you have?

  • umm im not shure but i know it has a external mic input but i cant get the thing to record the drum mic sounds

  • It should say somewhere on the camera - try the bottom...Sony, Panasonic etc?

There are probably two ways of getting your iMultimix to rec to your cam: get a Double Mono (= Stereo) 1/4" (or RCA) to Mini Jack (3.5mm) cable and run it out of the Alesis:either out Master or Tape out (the RCA), into your camera.

Change the cam input switches to "LINE". Sometimes it's automatic when you plug in, but somewhere in the menu you might have to set the camera input to "LINE"...Auto gain will also help.

  • its a sony .. thanks ill try that

  • what kind of kit r u using? it sounds great

  • Thanks!! Plain old Pearl Export...

  • great solo...but it's way off sync

  • Thanx...and it's not off sync: i just play sooo fast the sound has trouble keeping up!!

    I wish...

The prob was with the youtube downgrade while uploading...i'll fix it one day...

  • lagy

  • Try this to quiet cymbals down:

-Point you mics down more and closer to the velums. The higher gain close up would pick up less distant cymbal sound.

-Swoop hit them, instead of straight on.

    -Mount them higher.

-Buy smaller sizes, as they tend to ring less. Bigger bells/tapers should give you lower sound if you want to avoid them sounding too splashy.

    - Add a little more low/mid EQ to toms and cut highs.

Hope this helps. Your kit sounds awesome btw and the Zepp cover is spot on!

  • how do u record your cymbals? i also have a customs and when i record with them they ring SO much and i dont like it. yours are just like a strike and then they r basically done. how do u do that?

  • nvm...one more ? how you make your cymbals not have any xtra ring to them. like u hit the cymbals and basically thats it. cuz i have a customs and they ring A LOT

  • i have the xenyx 2442, how do u use the british EQ's?

  • Not sure what the question is...

  • ur video is ahed of ur audio but dang nice playing and set!

  • wow what a good sounding kit all round? fuck thats swet as

  • this song needs more cowbell. XP

  • excellent sound and solo.

  • nice job man

  • too bad its not synced, cause the video would look pretty darn better if you hit the crash at the same time where the sound comes

  • I like the sound of your bass drums!
